I just received the most amazing gift from a friend - an old copy of the first Sonic, and my PC can run it wonderfully! I love my friend sometimes. There was a weird note that came with it, but what the hell. My friend's kind of a loony, anyway. Wanting me to destroy this game? Why? It installed just fine. So anyway, let's boot up Sonic.exe and get this show on the road! Ah, nostalgia! I remember playing this hours upon hours back in the day! I can't wait to get started with Green Hill Zone and see if I'm still as good as I used to be. I don't remember the first Sonic having a file select screen. Not like this, anyway. Not with this music. Where's Sonic? Maybe I'm just imagining things. Maybe it's just a bootleg copy, you know. I get those all the time. Tails' file is the only file unlocked thus far, so I'm gonna start with that. Aww, look how cute he is! Though I don't remember ever playing as Tails in the first game. As I run along, I notice one thing. The road ahead is completely empty. No enemies, no hills, no loops, nothing. Just an empty stretch of land with a flower here and there. I shrug yet again. Maybe it's just some weird joke, right? Or I'm in debug mode. WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT? It looks like an animal...only covered in blood and torn to pieces. What the hell? I bravely press on, but only discover more horrible sights on my way to the level's end. I want to stop, but I can't. It's almost like something's forcing me to play... The macabre show continues until I finally spot a familliar sight... Tails is relieved to see Sonic standing there, and so am I. Thank God that's over. Control is taken away from me as Tails approaches Sonic carefully...
A new level screen appears. Hide and Seek? I don't remember this level at all... I have a really bad feeling about this. Instinct tells me to run for my life, as fast as I can. Whenever I stop, Tails frantically signals to me that I need to get away. While crying. What's going on? I keep running, not stopping anymore. A demonic version of Sonic appears several times, his eyes black and with red pupils, taunting me. I can't take this much longer. The drowning theme starts up, getting faster by the second, and Sonic appears on the screen once more, but now he's chasing me! He's gaining on me fast, and my blood runs cold.
There is no escape. I can only run until he catches me. When he does, he disappears and Tails is left crying on his own in a burning field. Until Sonic reappears, that is. What is he up to now? Suddenly a loud scream sounds as the screen goes black. You sick bastard. TAILS IS DEAD.
I'm not sure I want to start up Knuckles after that, but I have no choice. I'm scared... This doesn't look too bad compared to the burning Green Hill Zone. Maybe this is getting better. Looks like I spoke too soon. Dammit, Sonic. Not Knuckles, too. I...I can't...
Illusions of Sonic appear on both sides of Knuckles, rendering it impossible for me to run away. Every time I try, he teleports and mocks me. This game continues until Knuckles finally falls to the ground, crying. Sonic grabs Knuckles' neck and screams, and another message is shown. Oh, fuck you, Sonic. KNUCKLES IS DEAD.
The final stage is Eggman's. I am so scared right now. Knuckles' and Tails' stages were horrible to go through. This one will probably be even worse. Eggman looks at me with the same scared expression Tails had on his face when he was still alive. I just...why? Save for the blood spatters on the wall, nothing seems that out of place in this level. Sure, the color scheme is a bit confusing, but it's normal compared to what I've seen so far. When I reach the bottom of the stairs, the walls suddenly turn red, giving the entire level an eerie look. Is it just my imagination? Am I becoming delusional? Another staircase. This one's a bit shorter. I hold my breath, dreading the moment I finally reach the bottom. Sure enough, the walls turn black as night with a hint of red. I have a feeling this is my final destination. Sonic appears in front of Eggman, and the game gets static-y again. When the static fades, I get the most gruesome message of all. No matter how I tried to Alt+Tab out of the game, I couldn't leave this screen. It stayed like this for a few minutes until it went static-y again and a loud scream sounded. I jumped in my seat. I screamed inwardly, and clicked. RANDOMLETTERS IS DEAD.
Wait, if Randomletters is dead, who posted that last update? (Also, seeing Sonic with those eyes makes me think of Metal Sonic. Wonder if that's what the author was going for.)
Probably meant for him to look demonic, but yeah, I thought Metal Sonic too. Also, that drowning music is the scariest goddamn thing in a Sonic game ever. Including this one. I hated water levels so much. If panic attacks had a theme song, that would be it.

As someone whose general reaction to creepypasta is a resounding NOPE, I can't agree more. D: And yet I continue to read most of the creepypasta on here. Why.
Oh, I remember this pasta! They made a game out of it? That's so neat~ :D How do you guys keep finding this stuff? Wonder what other creepypastas have become reality... Also, Tails's crying face is adorable. Why does that make me sound so creepy? I'd watch the video but I hate hate hate screamers. Sorry demon!Sonic who may or may not be a very realistic Sonicbot gone mad, killing the real Sonic before the game even begun (explaining this split-second screen supposedly in the game when you press start) and prompting Tails to go looking for him.
