Barbie: I really should tell Onigawara thanks. I wonder if he's in.


Student: What are you standing around there for?
Barbie: U-Um! Is Mr. Onigawara there?
Student: Onigawara who?
Barbie: U-Um, you know... The student council president.
Student: What the hell are you saying? I'm the student council president.

(Ogregawara never did manage to pull the entire "student" thing off very well.)

Barbie: Huh...?
President: There's no Onigawara in the student council...


Ayaka and Yoshino's group are gone. So is Mr. Sohta, who killed Misao. But no one seems to... care. Were the people who died in that world erased from existence...? I still remember my friends, though. And what Yoshino and Mr. Sohta did to Misao. It can't never have happened.

(Your FRIEND, Barbie. I'll disown you if you were friends with the others. I suppose Kudoh was okay, but the others... No.)

Barbie: (I haven't seen Mr. Onigawara or Aya since. I don't know what happened to them. They sure were strange people...)

Teacher: You there! Face front and pay attention!
Barbie: I-I'm sorry!

Maybe she'll never be found... But that's all right. Misao was smiling in the end. I'm sure she's free of her pain. I'm glad, Misao...

(Beating the game unlocked "Truth". This is... Pretty much what it sounds like. It provides some additional information about the characters, Sohta's backstory, and explains what that last thing is. I'm probably going to be showing it after showing the bad end you get if you choose the wrong sacrifice. But that'll have to wait until tomorrow (or later today, in fact.). )

Beating the game also unlocks the option to play as a boy in your second playthrough. The plot is identical, but the boy's personality is a bit different. The most interesting example of this is when you kill Sohta. The male can't bring himself to do it, but the female speaks to him telepathically and tells him to do it. I think that if you choose to kill Tohma, something similar happens. I heard that Aya kills him, but I haven't seen it myself.

So she didn't want Ayaka punished; the teacher was the one who got her.

And the people she wanted dead... Yoshino (UNDERSTANDABLE), Otome (just... out of jealousy? kinda unfair given that she was telling him to stop. Also kinda unfair given that Tohma was at least 50-50 responsible for the cell phone message and I wouldn't put it past it being Yoshino all along), and then the green-haired guy. I dunno what was up with that; he... overheard the cheating and didn't confront anyone? I could understand it more if he'd been the guy in the bathroom; that'd give her a motive at least.

Edit: And wait everyone else is fine INCLUDING THE GUY IN THE BATHROOM what

...Maybe Yoshino was blackmailing him with something and Misao could sympathize with him a little.

I guess Ayaka isn't back because it wasn't the curse that killed her. ):

Ayaka was killed by Sohta. The "Truth" actually shows this happening.

Yeah, what was so bad about green-hair that Misao wanted to kill him? I mean, yeah, he distanced himself and that was a dick move, but enough to get hurt then run over by a car with a "I never liked you?" The only way that works is if he was a stalker...

At least Tohma is absolved-ish, avoiding my one real trigger.

Don't get me wrong, everything that happened was absolutely horrible, but otherwise pretty standard fare for this type of medium. It's just if Tohma has s-assaulted Misao, I'd've had to go for a cool down walk or something.

Imagine my surprise when given the choice the first time I chose to kill Tohma. You won't like that bad ending, I can assure you.

Kudoh is okay. Saotome and Tohma were kind of assholes, but teenagers tend to be stupid and do stupid shit like that. Definitely not murder-worthy, at least.

Yoshino and Sohta? Fuck Yoshino and Sohta. They deserved everything they got and more. I only wish we could have beaten Yoshino to death too.

Exactly! I realized after killing Tohma that I could have gone and killed the teacher. It was very satisfying to go back and murder the crap out of him, though. As Barbie said, 'Tee-hee!'

That would be my guess; library mentions seeing a student torn apart, and there's quite a few corpses scattered around the school.

Her rage boiled over and EVERYONE was going to suffer along with the students Misao hated is how I saw this.

I assumed most of those were already there (along with Library and Ogre), though this might be wrong.

Time to see the bad ending instead of writing my essay!

(The same "It's getting bright out, let's go outside"-thing as in the good end happens. Then the flashback, unaltered. But when the flashback ends...)



Sohta: Look! The sky is back to normal! All thanks to the curse being lifted!
(It should be noted that the sky is darker than in the good ending.)

Barbie: T-Teacher... You killed Misao...
(RUN. OR PUSH HIM OFF THE ROOF.)

Sohta: I see... So you saw it, too.
Barbie: (Is he... Gonna kill me, too?!)


(PUSH HIM PUSH HIM PUSH HIM)

Barbie: (I have to escape!!)



(Barbie tries to run, but Sohta catches her. The screen goes white.)


(Who the hell are you?)


(Ok nevermind that get out of here now)

Miho: T-Teacheeer...
(Girl you in danger. RUN.)

Sohta: Are you crying? You can tell me anything.


Sohta: I see... That's distressing...
(KILL MURDER MAIM)

Miho: Maho's the only one I have... Without Maho, I'm a-all alone...

Sohta: Don't be down. With time, I'm sure she will forgive you. Lift your spirits. Crying in here won't change anything, will it?

Miho: Yeah...



(And they walk off. I tried to warn her. The credits roll.)

Tohma, who's apologising to Misao in his sleep (y'know, clearly feeling remorse there, even if he is a scummy teenager of that age/disposition), gets a rather undeserved, "Make your apologies when you're dead, biatch! D:<"

Sohta gets a kinder and gentler, "Your suffering will pass soon~ Shhh~ /pap" Though that comes across as creepy to us readers, there's no doubt that she wants his passing to be eased somewhat, that killing him is even perhaps something that she doesn't want to do.

Though I really can't comprehend how that teacher has so many fans from his class (I mean, love letters?! WTF?!). D;

Hey, let's be fair, here.

We're creeped out because Amanohashi has become the bar we set all other teachers to. Sohta is OVER NINE THOUSAND on the creepy factor compared to Amanohashi, thus the appropriate "KILL HIM WITH FIRE" response.

The students? They just see an awesome teacher who happens to molest students when no one's looking.

And, despite the fact that Sohta looks creepy as well, I think part of that would be to do with the (deliberately ominous/evil) stark shadow and light contrast over his features - that wouldn't be an actual thing in a classroom, with more natural light. :Y
But still, he totally gives me the jibblies. I can't imagine I would particularly like him as a person if he were my teacher (that is, if I were one of the kids in that class).

Barbie actually has a crush on Tohma, as Ayaka mentions in the beginning. The creator has confirmed it, too. Which makes the difference in her attitude to killing Sohta and Tohma really weird. The male protagonist has a crush on Otome.

Well, another big difference is Sohta was conscious and Tohma wasn't.

I'm not going to tell the conscious guy who can fight back I'm about to try and bash his brains in with a baseball bat.

Well, maybe she admired/had a girlish crush that she knew would/could never be fulfilled on her sensei (or maybe not /barf), but liked Tohma and - knowing that them getting together could potentially be a thing - had "more" feelings for Tohma...? Or more tangible feelings for him, anyway. (Did that explanation make any kind of sense...? orz)

Maybe the difference in her attitude is because she felt Tohma betrayed Misao by getting a new girlfriend so soon after Misao disappeared, and not appearing to be all that bothered by her disappearance (at the beginning, certainly). I mean, Barbie kinda went crazy for Misao, so... It's possible she viewed a slight against Misao almost as if it were a slight against herself? And hence, killed any feelings she had for Tohma off at the roots?

But meh, this is just me doing the equivalent now of random hand waving at what is supposed to be a puppet show where did that even come from orz I'm just guessing. :T

Pink hairs who I don't remember the name and creepy teacher SO deserved to die horribly. Those seemed like mercy kills, they should have been way more brutal considering this is an horror game.

But, but... Now it just looks like Tohma was some random unfortunate kid, instead of actually horrible! You don't date a girl you don't like, you don't date a girl who was bullying her after that and you most certainly don't make up excuses after you abandoned that girl and left her to die. Damnit.
But I have to agree on the teacher being evil. They should check if people who teach are mentally stable enough for children to be exposed to them. They really should.
