And I was just coming here to say that the longer I wait for the Truth post, the more I dread it.

As for the teacher thing: You would be surprised and terrified at how easy it is to fake being normal. Creeps like Sohta are generally good at it. Not always, thank God, but still.

Kudoh's asshole level is at least tolerable by regular human standards. Yes, he's kind of a dick. But a lot of kids that age are kind of a dick.

And I don't want to seem cruel or anything but all of them sort of deserved it. :/

Speaking as someone who has both played the game and been hit by a car: Kudoh actually didn't do anything that unusual, and not enough to earn that. It may not have been the best option, but when stacked against the likes of Yoshino and Sohta, he's damn near a saint.

That explains it to some extent. Kids are generally dicks at that age. I guess he was being teased for hanging out with the weird girl, or just for hanging out with a girl in the first place.

(Okay, maybe confront wasn't the right word.)

Misao: KUDOH IS USELESS
Misao: DIE ALREADY

Barbie: Misao! Please, stop!
Kudoh: I'm sorry... So sorry...

(This is the reason Kudoh's the only one I don't mind "saving". He really regrets the shit he's done.)

(All the Misaos disappear, and a new one appears.)

Maybe you're right. BUT it could have been worse...speaking of worse Sohta got off easy. He died via baseball bat which, compared to some, is actually a preferable death rather than getting chopped to pieces or becoming a 'test subject' for a random monster scientist.

Gosh. I'm not sure being an infant in this particular room is an actual step up over being an endlessly tormented spirit.

Which is probably why Yoshino was the one to suffer those. Seriously, fuck Yoshino.

But being beaten to death doesn't sound horribly pleasant. Especially since he apparently lasted long enough to crawl across most of the room.

Yeah, Kudoh was a dick, but his dickishness is ordinary, human playground level dickishness - Distancing yourself from the bullied person so you don't catch the flak by association. Not right, but something we've likely all done at least once (or had done to us)

(I find my trusty old friend the baseball bat in a stall nearby! I'm just gonna pretend that it's not actually THAT stall. PLEASE don't let it be THAT stall...)

(I destroy the door and head out.)
