Earlier today a thread for this game was made by somebody who immediately got spamnuked, so here's a real one! Amnesia: A Machine For Pigs is the (presumably) fucking terrifying kinda-sequel to Amnesia: The Dark Descent. Whereas the first was made by Frictional Games, the swinedevice is only being published by Frictional Games; the development is being done by thechineseroom, the guys behind Dear Esther and, more relevantly, Korsakovia. It's probably gonna come out late this year or early next year. A couple of trailers have been released: Personally, I can't wait. Well, I suppose I have to, but you know what I mean.
The first one was so scary that I couldn't even make it through the demo, I had to watch a Let's Play on YouTube. And it was still scary! I can't wait to play watch play this one, it sounds just as messed up as the first.
So... the twist is that you are the pigs? Is there a machine that turns everyone into manbearpig? This is very confusing.
Definitely going to play watch a let's play of this game. I was too much of a chicken to finish the demo of the first Amnesia either. Is this going to be like Animal Farm? Are we hiding from manpigs? I didn't like the idea of Animal Farm, I didn't like playing Amnesia, putting them both together makes a whole lot of "I do not want to personally experience this".
