That's a cool gif. In general people (eg in normal cars) who don't shovel/brush a bunch of snow off of their roofs are one of the more visible species of epic assholes one runs into in everyday (winter) life. Lazy and irresponsible and hard to wrap one's head around.
I'm with you there. I quickly realized in my first winter in Minnesota last year how much I disliked "those" cars, and began to brush mine off always now.
I don't really get it either, but I have a horrible suspicion there is some form of not right connotation around "swallowing".
It's worth noting that other forms of the gif include the aftermath where she sits up looking dazed but unharmed, making it more 3 Stooges than psychotic.
At long last, someone won the thread. This person happens to be Nute for his star wars dog-Tatooine-creature gifs.
Can somebody explain to me why so many people think that a Star Wars reference makes everything funny/clever/not tedious? Just askin.'
Star Wars is a pop culture touchstone and most people can easily recognize when something from it is used in parody or some weird context. The level of funny and/or clever can vary and may be a matter of personal taste.
Oh, I understand that it is a pop culture touchstone, but I can't see its constant and repeated use as anything other than lazy and boring and not funny. Oh, look, (yet another) cat in an ewok costume! an Imperial Stormtrooper mailman! Yawn. YMMV.
Why don't you show us the awesome pet costume that you came up with, so we can have a point of reference?
