That guy has had it with Spielberg jamming his trademark emotionally manipulative sentimentality into all his movies is what.
Yeah, I saw Munich, and actually enjoyed the story it was telling for all that he tried to spice it up with his signature moves at times (and I actually didn't mind the ending so much as the overall confused feel of the movie). But <adjusts monocle> it's all been downhill from Duel.
The Marine thought the player was about to tell him to be quiet by Shhhh'ing with his finger over his lips. Marine wasn't having it.
I love that gag reel. What I think is pretty awesome is that Sir Stewart basically said he was a miserable asshole during the first season and couldn't understand why all the other actors were being so jokey all the time. After that, he loosened up and learned not to take everything so seriously. Favorite bit of the reel is Michael Dorn flipping the fuck out and pounding his fists on the weapons console after he screws up a scene multiple times. You never go Full Klingon!
I'm normally very pro-spider but something about that's just chilling. It also looks like a model of spider that's been an enemy in video games.
Obviously NWS, spoilers, etc. Side by side comparison of giffed scenes from the two Girl with Dragon Tattoo movies. I don't care for the one I saw (the original) and have no interest in the second, but I still found it kind of interesting.
I just read that issue before coming to check the forum, so it's wild that I'm seeing this. VERY freaking well done, too. Nice.
Who the fuck that that was a good idea especially now with off the shelf CG post-production software?!
I'm not in the slightest but that is magnificent. They still freak me out but they are amazing creatures if you can get past the legs.
Holy shit, that mascot really leaned into that. Dude got laid the fuck out. edit: well, this is the animated gif thread, so.
It's evidently a schtick, as evidenced by this old video, similarly cited by some googled-up account of the Lakers fan incident. Smart money would be on entirely staged incident, given the legalities of randomly assaulting people with cakes.
