Apparently, Everyone is Me.

So, for those not in the know, there's a goofy little roleplaying game called Everyone is John.

And our favorite banana, Anabanana , wants to see me run a game of it.

And while that seems like a lot of work and I tend to not follow through on these things (see the infamous Maid thread), what the hell.

First five people to respond can be the voices in my head, we'll do it Mafia style where you send me a conversation with your character sheet and do your bidding in there.

Anything you need to figure out should be explained by that link. The shiny blue one, up there, with the title of the game.

... What? Tell you something about how the game'll be set up? Don't be silly, that'd ruin the surprise.

After further consideration, I'll probably set up a waiting list after we hit five, and then either run new rounds with a new set up or follow the suggestion in the rules and foist it off on whoever's unlucky enough to win.

I'll be doing my best to keep track, but at the game end when we tally up, you should count for yourself because I'm lazy only human and will probably miss some if I have to tally everyone's.

And not five minutes after I posted that, it occurred to me that while we can't start yet, you guys may as well PM your bids for who's going to be in charge with John wakes up.

In the conversation with your character sheet, send me your bid of how many willpower you're willing to spend to be in control. And remember that you only spend it if you win, losing bids keep their points.

As the eyes blink slowly open, you all find yourself staring up at the star-filled night sky, lying on your back on what seems to be hard stone. The air tastes funny, and something about the whole thing seems off to you.

I'm sorry, before I start I have a question: how do I actually play this game? Do I just say what I'm doing as though I'm John?

Yep. If you try to do anything particularly challenging (which, for a guy with as many issues as John has, may include walking) you have to roll a d6 and hit either 3 (if it's one of your two skills) or 6 for anything else. Other than that, it's just narrative, you describe what you want to do and I describe what happens and then the other steal control while you're distracted.
