A friend of mine asked this question on FB: It's in his father's assisted living facility. He has physical limitations and can't operate the device himself. I haven't been able to figure out whether logging in over the 'net is a feature of this device.
The only thing I know of is using the iphone Remote app, but you need to be on the same wifi network as the apple tv.
