Not sure if this was listed before, but Borderlands 2 is half price on Amazon (30 bucks) couldnt pass it up at that price.
  2. Marcin Hard Cider Gal

That's the problem; they pretend they do, but (I think) they did it by buying Direct2Drive and half-assedly implementing their system. I wouldn't trust it to last, and if it has a key activation I wouldn't trust their key servers to run either. They did it once, nobody (in the media, and thus nobody) called them on it, they can do it again.

Sweet, in for King's Bounty and probably Thief too...
  5. Brian Rubin Armchair Designer

    Sorry, I'm confused.
  6. Blackadar Worked The System

It activates on Origin, so there's something to be said for that.
  7. L'Oncle I Pretty Much Live Here

Awesome, that did it. Steam is downloading the game content now. Thanks Kalle!

If you ever signed up for IGN Prime to take advantage of their "permanent" 15% discount at GamersGate, you should be aware that it has ended.

You can get another 20% off on top if you use the code GMG25-G4VDR-0ZL4Q

    Brings it to $22.50

This is really tempting except I suspect I'm gonna play it, love it, finish it, done. Those games are really hard for me to justify over ~15 bucks these days. :/

Yeah I came super close to buying as well - but then remembered I still needed to buy Christmas presents for like EVERYONE. under $20 probably woudl have done it though.

I'm also tempted by Transformers on Steam for $25, but again I think It needs to go under $20.

To illustrate the illogicality of any pricing of digitally distributed games and what is "cheap", I spent $12 on ice cream at the shopping centre (or "mall") within an hour of making this statement.

I don't think they're the same genre of game. FoF is a RPG...Farming Simulator is a sim. Though I wouldn't spend $15 on farming simulator either. :)

Anyone know if FE is worth $19.99?
  28. Blackadar Worked The System

Probably, but you can get Warlock for 1/2 that and you don't have to give Brad any money.

  29. James Johnson Worked The System

Nope. Buy Warlock and its DLC instead.
  30. brettmcd Keeper of the Elemental Materials

I didn't connect at all with Warlock when I tried the demo so I think FE for thar price is worth it.

Crysis 2 for 10 bucks is pretty tempting. Any thoughts? I'm ok if it's just fun dumb gun time.

I certainly understand the feeling that spending over fifteen dollars on something that you love is just too much. Which is why this year for Christmas everyone in my family is getting a book of coupons for free hugs.

I think farming simulator is worth about $15, if you like driving heavy machinery while seeding and plowing fields. I find it to be quite cathartic for some reason.

If you're into gaming hardware, the Logitech G500 Gaming Mouse is on sale at Amazon.com for $34.99, which is half off (I think you mean almost half off! ~random pedantic stranger) its normal price of $69.99.

It offers amazing features, such as:

    A Wheel:

    Lasers!

    A Heavy Duty Cord!

    Yea, I don't know either:
    dude.jpg

I've been using one since earlier this year and I have no complaints about it, and it's the best mouse I've ever used. It suffers through quite a bit of abuse too. The only common issue I've heard from other people is that it feels a bit too big in their hand to comfortably reach the front-most thumb button on the quick. But to be fair, they all had petite hands (and it is a huge mouse with a huge footprint, which is one reason why it works so well for me). So if you have petite hands you've been warned.

It allows DPI switching on the fly, will store gaming profiles, and switch to those profiles automatically when starting up specific games. The wheel also toggles into a free-scroll mode for those gamers stuck in 2008.
