I don't understand why this last little chunk of time separates me from the steam sale. Is there something special about it? Out of the hundreds of billions of days the Earth has existed, why this? It seems so random and meaningless. They could have started the sale today, but they didn't. Why? Billions of people are wrong; there's no higher power.
I dub GamersGate's four daily deals for December 19th Dungeons 'n Drivin': Oblivion $4.99 (75% off). Dungeons and flower picking. Dungeons GOTY Edition $4.99 (75% off). Dungeons and DLC. Dark Messiah Might & Magic $2.99 (70% off). Dungeons and kicking. Need for Speed Most Wanted $27.49 (45% off). Dungeons and driving. But without the dungeons. gog.com's 24 hour deal is a bunch of different sales and bundles that are 75% off. A few highlights (there are 125+ in total): The Witcher 2 $7.49 Ultima series $8.94 (includes I-IX and Underworld I + II) Might & Magic Madness $25.89 (Might & Magic 1-9, Heroes of Might & Magic 1-5, Crusaders of M&M, Heroes Chronicles) Telltale Adventures $34.94 (Sam & Max, Wallace & Grommit, Back to the Future, Tales of Monkey Island)
Any deals on MS Points floating around? There's several things on the marketplace I want, and I hate paying full price! Things include: Black Ops 2 Season Pass Dark Souls Expansion pack More levels for Castlevania HD (I got back into it recently grindgrindgrind) A Gutsman costume
Although some of these GOG deals have been posted, I just want to make sure Quackers is aware of the end of the world celebration GOG is putting on.
I am having a serious urge to treat myself this Christmas/End of The World to digitizing as much of my game collection as I can, and GOG's HOMM cheapies are dead in my sights. Death to disks! Am I nuts?
And I am waiting on a sale of GW2, MYself. I am playing through the ten-day MoP trial, and while the new world is luscious, I have to remember to sign in.
I was just saying to Bahimiron last night that I am going to be pissed if the world ends on Friday cause then everyone's last thought should be "Boy that archaeologist girl on the internet sure was wrong!" P.S. DIAF! I still have my old HOMM CDs somewhere...
For some reason I thought today was the 20th, so at 1pm eastern I spent five minutes hitting F5 on steam's site. I'm addicted to buying cheap digital games.
Steam's Daily Deal for December 19th is a celebration of irony. Given the War Z fiasco you may pause at going for Containment: The Zombie Puzzler for $1.69 (66% off). But if you like zombies and puzzles it may be worth the 169 pennies.
12/20-12/21: on Amazon! Darksiders Franchise Pack - $13.19 all steam, contains: Darksiders Darksiders II Darksiders II Season Pass (DLC) Darksiders II DLC Angel of Death Pack Argul's Tomb Deadly Despair Death Rides Fletcher's Crow Hammer Mace Maximus Mortis Rusanov's Axe Shadow of Death Van der Schmash Hammer Abyssal Forge I saw this over at CAG!
A bunch of normally over-priced Square Enix games for Android are on sale now: http://www.androidpolice.com/2012/1...igger-for-6-99-chaos-rings-for-3-99-and-more/
Gamersgate has Fallout 3 GotY for €2.49 http://www.gamersgate.com/DD-F3GOTYE/fallout-3-game-of-the-year-edition This activates on Steam.
Anyone who doesn't have this already needs to get it. Pretty awesome game, especially with some mods (whatever your personal preference is).
Fallout 3 was amazing, played that game 3 times to completion , last 2 times with tons of mods. The DC setting was just perfect. :)
Yep that's a new voucher, surprisingly there is nothing I want to use it on.* D: * well thats a lie, but Rome Total War 2, isn't for sale yet.
Yeah, it's one of my favorite RPGs of all time. Incredible setting. Easily the best exploration of any game I've ever played.
It's the exclusive Mirriam edition of GamersGate's four daily deals for December 20th: Syndicate $5.09 (83% off). I don't think Mirriam has played this. Mass Effect $4.99 (75% off). Mirriam-approved. Except for the Mako. Fallout 3 GOTY Edition $4.99 (75% off). Mirriam already mentioned this six posts up. Crysis 2 Maximum Edition $13.58 (66% off). Mirriam's husband-approved (in theory). gog.com is offering 75% off Daedalic Adventures as their current 24 hour special. You must buy the whole kaboodle to get 75% off instead of 50%: The Whispered World $3.74 Deponia $4.99 Edna & Harvey: The breakout + Harvey's New Eyes $4.99 Dark Eye: The Chains of Satinav $4.99 A New Beginning - Final Cut $2.49
Worst thing: I can't even pick up a copy of Fallout 3 for myself since they won't verify my e-mail :( The Whispered World is approved by my daughter by the way. Oh, and my husband is enjoying Crysis 2 from what I can tell :D
Yes, I'll have to pick it up from Steam now, hopefully it will go down as far as Gamersgate was selling it for. We have a copy, I just wanted my own so I have it in my Steam list :) Edit: A kind person just gifted it to me, this forum is the best!
GamersGate has switched to an End of the Year sale with six games as part of its daily offering for December 21st: Fallout New Vegas Ultimate Edition $14.98 (70% off). Does not contain actual radiation. Ship Simulator Extreme Collection $7.49 (75% off). Boats with spoilers and racing stripes. Might & Magic Heroes VI Gold Edition $23.97 (40% off). Does not contain actual gold. Mortal Kombat Arcade Kollection $3.38 (66% off). Nostalgic kick in the face. Fatshark Collection $17.20 (60% off). 3 games: Krater, Lead & Gold, Hamilton's Great Adventure. Agricultural Simulator 2012 $6.78 (66% off). 'Best in farming!'
For those, like me, who missed Amazon's intial $11.99 offering of Kingdoms of Amular : The Reckoning with all DLC, they are running it again all weekend. Requires registration through Origin to play.
Steam just added Sacred 2 Gold and it's 50% off ($10) until Jan 5th... (...less than a week after I gave in and bought it on Gamersgate for $20 because I'd given up hope of the expansion ever coming to NA...)
GamersGate is offering these games up as its daily deals for December 22 and is holding over three from yesterday (at the end of the list): Stronghold 3 Gold $7.49 (75% off). Iron Front: Liberation 1944 $14.98 (50% off) Agricultural Simulator 2013 $6.78 (66% off). 'Updated agricultural technology from well known partners.' Gray Matter $2.50 (75% off). From Jane Jensesn, of Gabriel Knight fame. The holdovers: Fatshark Collection $17.20 (60% off). 3 games: Krater, Lead & Gold, Hamilton's Great Adventure. Ship Simulator Extreme Collection $7.49 (75% off). Agricultural Simulator 2012 $6.78 (66% off).
Steam says their latest flash sales will go on for 13 days, which is a pretty strange flash. EDIT: They have since corrected this. Return to your homes.
Wow. Should I get Agriculture Simulator 2012 for $6.78 or Agriculture Simulator 2013 with its updated agriculture technology for $6.78? These holiday sales are exhausting.

Maybe you mentioned this before, but use code HOLIDAY20 to knock off an extra 20%. I'm getting XCom for sure, but I'm waffling on Amnesia, Deus Ex: HR, Rayman Origins, and Anno 2070.
