Interview with Ken Levine - Race in Bioshock. I can't really figure out what exactly he's saying he did in Infinite with respect to race, but I think there are some transcription errors.
After reviewing the thread again, no discussion about Bioshock Infinite (a game I am looking forward to) >> Discussion about Bioshock Infinite's box art. Carry on.
said Quitch with a tremor in his voice. "Sssssh" said Ehm Ecks, "it's alright." The distance between them closed.
Let me make this easier, keeping in mind that I'm a terrible human being. I'm going to go with the whole "if you're not sure if it should be in a spoiler tag, then it should probably be in a spoiler tag" rule.
Wired (the dead tree edition) has an article about this game and how it will either be the Best Thing Ever or Ken Levine's downfall. Can't wait til March. Levine has earned my trust - Bioshock is still in my top 5 of all time. EDIT: Here's the article at Wired.com.
Okay, that was pretty special for a trailer. The style was perfect. I'm officially excited about the game again.
It's not just her bust. She has a new outfit and the face looks rather different. A change for the better, IMO.
I liked her old face better, but this one is more mature, which is no doubt intended to avoid any ickiness.
Do we think this is why the game got pushed back a month? DO NOT LIKE THE NEW ELIZ HER KNEES ARE TOO SHARP
I had thought that there were indications that Elizabeth's outfit changes over the course of the game. I'd assume this is just the first time we're seeing that, rather than hearing it be vaguely alluded to. EDIT: Ah, right, here we go Also that RPS interview/autobio everyone hates included screenshots of both outfits.
Looking at the comparison screenshot i think it's just difference in scene(s) lighting, not the face.
Thanks for making me read that awful interview article. But it appears you are right. No progress after all, but at least jerri blank gets her bodice-ripping.
The recent dev blog update on all the PC port love the game is receiving on top of these latest videos convinced me to pre-order the Premium $80 edition. Had a $50 gift card from Christmas that's been burning a hole in my pocket anyways. Game looks fantastic, just hope it doesn't suffer from anything like the original's post-reveal story lag, but it sounds like in interviews that Levine is fully aware of that flaw and has worked to avoid it for this game.
On closer inspection it appears that I might have been wrong and it's really just the lighting. And Levine mentioning different outfits... ah well.
He sure seemed to be annoyed that anyone is making an issue of it. Of course, it could just be that jackass interviewer.
