Oh man, I should totally take a gander at all the people who said they shipped AFTER the tracking shows my package shipped. Then I can deduce my Santa's identity! MWAHAHAHAAHA

Phew! It was stuff I ordered for my dad from the U.S. Mint. Why wouldn't it say U.S. Mint on it? Probably because then people figure it's a box full of money, which it is.

Gifts have been shipped!

My wife asked me to clarify that my gifts are sitting under the tree in the original shipping packaging, which doubles as present-wrapping for me! (Seriously, you should see how things I wrap look.)

I have some problems with paypal and my card so the second part of the gift probably won't be there by opening day.

UGGHHHHHH... I need to print labels for the thing and then I can send those things along with some other things I picked up to the guy/gal who will get all these things and hopefully be happy with their nice pile of things. Oh and I need to wrap these things too!. Ugh. Come on nixon, get your ass in gear.

Oh!!! My gift arrived today! I know who my SS is now, and while I haven't opened the box yet, I'd like to say thanks! Because announcing it now might somehow (through elimination) help others know who their SS is or whatever I won't do that until I open it. But you know who you are, and I appreciate you getting me the gift with plenty of time to spare! Now I don't have to whip out the jpeg. I just have to find a way to resist opening it for a few more days.

BTW, am I right in thinking that the standard deal applies, where those of us who won't be home next week can open it on Sunday (or before we leave for our trips)?

A mysterious package arrived today while I was at work!

Dear Secret Santa-

There appears to be an issue with my incoming package. I get notifications from UPS about scheduled deliveries, and it's addressed to my nickname so I know that's it. Unfortunately, it's not tracking beyond the shipping label being printed on 12/8, and the scheduled delivery of 12/11 is already passed. Amazon messed it up? No idea! BE ADVISED.

Santa has a fever and has barely been able to move beyond huddling under mas blankets in a fetal position, so the package may be a day or two behind schulde. But it will get there!

I'm gonna do my gosh-darndest to ship tomorrow and with any luck the package with arrive in 2-3 business days so...the 18th or the 19th? I has failed. :(

My transmogrification proceeds. I'm hoping it will finish over night. This has taken much longer than I anticipated. I join in the mea culpas.

A package has arrived. I think it may be from my secret Santa. One clue is that it says that it is from my secret Santa on the outside of the package. I don't want to be too hasty in jumping to any conclusions, though. It could be a trick.

Goddamnit I love this time of year. Look at all of these excited people who've sent presents that other people will enjoy! I love each and every one of you, except everyone in my fantasy league who beat me this year. You all suck. ESPECIALLY Omniscia who has a chance to beat me three times in one season.

Second package has arrived!

DHL doesn't let me track packages once they are handed over to a foreign carrier. However according to the tracking info, the package arrived in the US on Monday 10th so it should be with the recipient already.
