Someone very close to me suffers from a mental illness that is well controlled with medication - but if I mentioned the name of the disease in casual conversation, people would freak out and instantly think of them in a very negative way. The manner in which we stigmatize mental illness in western society is a disgrace - and the way that our mentally ill have been treated since Reagan cut funding for federal institutions and turfed thousands of the mentally ill out onto the streets for "community care" programs that were nothing more than homelessness - it's a literal atrocity, and we're all to blame. I'd honestly like to see how Ayumi would go about doing that. I'm not being demeaning, though I would expect some mindless panic before any action.

It took me five times to figure out how to deal with this. That is not something I would think about with how it gets presented.

I'm guessing that voice saying "I ' v e h a d e n o u g h" was actually Ayumi in one of her pseudo-possession-states.
So she jumped into the pool on her own and didn't fight the force of the drain when it dragged her.

Yes. It's not as clear without voice acting, but it was said in a really creepy gravelly voice, which is the same one that Ayumi spoke with in Chapter 2 when she lost her shit.

Oddly enough that really gory spoilered image of Ayumi didn't quite make sense to me at first glance. Like the angle and positioning and such. It gave me an eschergirl vibe. Just witnessed a super gory scene and got more distracted by the anatomy lulz.

Seriously this bit was just evil. Even following a no spoiler walkthrough, I wound up getting a bad end. And that's probably part of why I have yet to go back to the game.

damn it - I just found out that Corpse Party is out on the iOS app store - but unfortunately, it's untranslated, japanese only. That's really, really frustrating. I'd snap it up in a second if they offered the english version.

Not really, it's just that shoes come up later as a plot point for another character.

It's not actually that hard to tell it's her. Looking at the sprite scene, you can sorta see her face through the bars.
The CG just took some liberties and made it look like she swam headfirst into the drain, which I wouldn't put above her in that possessed condition. Let's be thankful they didn't faithfully render the sprite scene, shall we?
