Blame Nerys not me. So once upon a time, there was a thread about Date Warp, and someone misread it as Date Wars, and Nerys wished upon a shooting star that this simple misunderstanding would become a REAL game. So I, the wish-granting game-making-fairy (I'm the good one; Donmai is the evil twin) made her dream a reality. What has it got? Well, what hasn't it got? Lots of things really. However, it does have undefined images, lots of stock photos of boats, multiple LIFE-IMPACTING choices, a sassy narrator, a text-input system, and MUCH MUCH MORE. Well not really that much more. But what more do you need, really? Download it for Windows here, Mac over here, and Linux over this way. Post screenshots of your favorite ships, as well, if you like.
HELL YEAH. I must remember to always use my powers for good. Or something. I'm not sure if there's a good end in this game, but there sure is a good beginning.
The ends are neither good or bad; they are presented without judgement or label. *nods sagely* There's... 11, I think. That sounds right, anyway.
That was a legitimate mistake, but all let's pretend it wasn't because it's funnier that way. ETA: Should add that I cannot stop laughing. Post more screenshots, peasants! And of course we do, Failure Hero, that sounds like an epic romance of our times.
Since I'm kinda obsessed with Les Mis after watching the movie, I made a playthrough that will make Jaquelle happy too XD
THE CULT GROWS. Oh my god, Faust, I love you XD And that's because that route was actually written around Enjolras/Grantaire; all the practice ships I wrote the game around were Les Mis ones.
Really? I'm glad you like it, I actually flatter myself and think it's quite funny XD Btw, the ally ship was "MariusxEponine" XD
The ships I used were Marius x Cosette for Deeply in Love, Jehan x Courfeyrac for Getting to know each other, Enjolras x Grantaire for unrequited, Montparnasse x Eponine for the rival ship, and Valjean/Javert for the ally XD
I showed this to my husband, since he's partly responsible. He immediately named all the ships after WWII navy ships. And then proceeded to play down the exact same route I did my first time, which I found hilarious. And then I replayed it and got the good end. OMG YAY!
HOW DID I NOT PREVIOUSLY SEE THIS THREAD? BE RIGHT BACK, I NEED TO GET ON MY LAPTOP AND DOWNLOAD THIS.
Geez, Jaquelle and Nerys. Get a room. Said the person who has been yandere all over videetcredere on multiple occasions. And has propositioned much of the LP forum.
So my turn to share~ Me cursing Masochism? Accurate. My typical reaction to most things in these threads! No. No, I don't. It wins every time.
