I noticed the option as I was resetting my browser. There's not a soul on my Facebook friend list who would know anything about "The Mad Hatter". I keep such aspects of my life strictly compartmentalized. Even my girlfriend only knows this forum as the place I post about games with other nerds. I suppose I'm weird about such things though, and others are more open.
I didn't know such a thing was possible. Why would I want to log in through FB? Are there some benefits I'm unaware of?
Logging in through Facebook does not broadcast anything to your Facebook feed at all. It solely allows you to create a new account and/or log into your existing account using your Facebook account.
I login via Facebook because I'm lazy. Facebook hasn't thrown up any endorsements of broken toys, forums or whiskey bottles yet.
I don't even use Facebook! You kids get off my fucking lawn. No, really. Off the lawn, or else. I mean it. I'm gonna violate you!
I had this image of 'The Mad Hatter has just posted to the "I think my pants are being removed" thread' kind of timeline updates, for my extended family's viewing.
I don't use the facebook sign in for anything other than facebook and I try to keep off that as much as possible and remember to sign out once I'm done since I caught some random app or other posting "likes" onto my page despite never asking me to sign into Facebook. <insert usual rant about the evils of Facebook>
