I remember at my oral English exam when leaving public school my teacher asked if I had anything to add.

I said: "Platypusses dream extremely much,"

Literally the only thing I do remember from that exam. That and my grade.

That grade was obviously an A. That's the most beautiful English phase I've read since "Cellar door".

It was actually A XD! A+, I guess. Erm, whatever was the max at the time, they changed the scale recently so it'd translate better.

An, public school, back when I was any good at the subjects... *sighs wistfully*

That is so deep.

It's also true! I'd just been reading an article about how it proved dreams aren't tied to late evolution, platypusses being what they are, so it was a thrilling discovery that they dream almost every time they sleep. That means dreaming is one of the first thing a creature crawling from the primordial muck gets!

I thought, at age 16. Did I ever mention how I wasn't very good at being a teenager?

But that just means you were an awesome teenager. When I was 16 I wrote angsty poetry, listened to Nirvana and cut school to smoke pot. But that means I never learned enough about platypuses and it makes me sad!

16... ah I remember that birthday... all of those long seven months ago... I thought I was so cool... and then I was a Junior and it sucks I hate school so much my teachers are like we don't want you to have homework over thanksgiving so here have 5 essays and three projects all due next week:D okay sure yeah right NOPE

Oh, that was when I was seventeen.

"Weekend, oh, we can't have you be bored, here, have a 5 hour Math assignment, an 8 hour Biology paper, a 3 hour Physics assignment and a Danish essay set to 5 hours."

Our grandmotherly English teacher always asked us when writing essays would be most convenient. When a classmate called her 'too nice' because of it, I wanted to flip a table, and I haven't before or since that day.

When I was 16 most of you were in diapers still apparently.

Now imagine my dawning sense of horror as I realize that I've made inappropriate comments towards at least half of the people here.

That's okay. We all aishiteru you regardless of age.

I'm really trying hard not to think that biologically I'm old enough to have given birth to half the people I'm talking to.

But my aishiteru is only approved for kids ages 18 and up. What if one of you chokes on one of the small parts?

Actually I don't usually go out at all unless it's to school. Normally I stay in pajamas.

Me too but that is because I'm ill :(

If it were possible I'd live my entire life in my pajamas.

I always have an entire drawer dedicated to pajamas.
Currently, I only have three drawers.
Welp, non-pajama clothing, I guess you'll just have to get comfy with one another.

Then why do so many of them have Rattata and Zubat.

When I was sixteen (if we're still talking about that) I did all of my math homework and essays that didn't have to be typed in the last fifteen minutes of lunch. Ahhh, the days when homework was easier to make myself do.
