Well they started coming through right after I changed and saved a privacy setting in my profile (I set it all to members only from the default settings).
Apparently, one of my conversations is no longer emailing updates to not only me, but also another member. Nothing in spam. The last update I got was (and there have been numerous updates since then): Sent: Tue 1/22/13 8:29 PM
I've not had mine for a while either. Not that it matters for me as I am compulsively checking the forums to avoid doing work anyway.
Yeah, I've stopped getting emails about conversation updates as well, same conversation as Deadbuffalo.
I'm currently using a gmail account I never use for a SMTP server. Unsurprisingly gmail is apparently unhappy about this and locks it after a while. I'm looking into alternative SMTP servers since I want to run one (and deal with the consequent hacking/spammer issues) about as much as I want to edit forum CSS pages.
Yeah, I was having issues too--unfortunate since I needed the email to complete my registration. XD Seems that things are working a bit better now, though, 'cause I got my email today.
So e-mails are working, I'm getting them again, and though I've turned off e-mail notifications now, I'm still getting them. It's like some kind of forum Fantasia.
Heh. Probably they were queued up from before you deactivated them. Mail service has been switched over to Amazon now, and seems to be working fine. Please report any other issues so I can ignore them.
Natch, the only logical explanation is that Broken Forum is tsundere. That's really odd though, maybe re-activate then deactivate?
