Frankly, I'm shocked that you would stoop to using slurs so casually. Of course hirsute Canadians are people, in all of their pelted splendor. I believe the country gave them the vote decades ago.

Funnily enough, polar bears' skin is solid black. It's the fact that the individual hairs of their fur are hollow and transparent that makes them appear white.

It's a shame* that we don't have an opinionated Quebecois here to tell us how we Anglos are destroying the beautiful Francophone society through our cultural hegemony.

I only ever saw Good Men of Snow in Quebec, none of them were abominable.

I dunno how important the 80s is vis a vis abominable snowman, as wikipedia and my unreliable and potentially-80s-influenced-memory thought was the whimsical-but-common word for Yeti until recently.
