This is neither funny nor clever, just sad. It was a job I had for a few years while in college at a logistics company that dealt with semi-conductors for Texas Instruments. I had an exciting and rewarding position processing packages for shipment and as you can see by the care that went into making this wonderful trophy, they were extremely dedicated to making sure I knew how important I was.

The photo of me is hard to see at this point, but a few notable things: it was taken on my first day back from a bout of conjunctivitis (pink eye) so it's among the most pathetic looking photos ever taken of me and the "plaque" I'm holding up is a piece of paper decorated with MS Word clip art and "RECOGNITION" at the top in a very fancy font. Apparently my boss was told to give her employees recognition and she took it quite literally.

As an author and a musician, I take issue with the claim that athletes have less skill than I do. What athletes do is amazing. I also take issue with the claim that being a scientist takes more skill (not saying it takes less either, though much of science is just lab work). In any case, I guess it's a funny graph, since the whole point is that having sex takes no skill (though my girlfriend knows that I personally don't believe that...nowatimsayin). And taping it takes even less.
