Happy worlds end!

I think it noteworthy enough that the world has ended that it needed it's own thread. Here in Sweden it ended approximately 15hours ago. I forgot about it until just a minute or so ago but then realised that the 2012 apocalypse must have been what has caused my splitting headache. Anyway, happy worlds end to you all and may all your apocalypses be merry.

Looks like I can check off that last box on my "to survive" list:

Did the Statue of Liberty float over to one random building? I'm kind of confused.

Also is it today or the 23rd that I'm supposed to freak out about because I can't remember.

That Minus comic is great. Here is a similar story, which I also like. (The McAlmont story is older than the comic, 2003 vs. 2006. The story was originally posted on Everything2 under the title "Standing on a mountaintop in northern Siberia under the rapidly descending bulk of asteroid McAlmont, with a calculating expression and a baseball bat." The title was created by another user, and the author wrote the story to fit it.)
