I want to see Transcendence. One can do diplomatic, economic, or warlike victories in all sorts of civ games, but as far as I know this is the only one where you can win by courting the planet enough to get its good ending.
  2. Ozzo Noticed By Drunken Admin

I am umfamiliar with these so-called "civ games" brought up by your advisors, Shippingmaster, but I at least understand the folly of what they suggest. The beasts that infest this planet have wreaked havoc on the Security of our State. No one has bitten his lip and steeled his gaze at those fallen for the State like Our Esteemed Chairman. But he knows as the Chairman the necessary tribute to our denizens -- as should you, Shippingmaster.

I therefore urge you to resist Transcendence thinking of the bloody price paid for our Security. Chiron itself declares war upon us with its hellspawn. Those deluded enough to bandy accusations of narrow-mindedness have spent too little time with the monsters -- or too much. You throw our beloved State into the maw of a beast worse than Knowledge or Prayer.

2346: Colonel Santiago calls for a recount on the planetary governorship. She finds no traction from the other forces. At this point, it is actually impossible to depose me as ruling party due to the overwhelming Broken population. Smaller issues like trade, on the other hand are still decided by factional numbers.
Shortly after the election, I get a call from Kalle's Capture. Apparently their engineers have been hard at work on a device to shield the human brain from the psionic abilities possessed by the mindworms. While not fully effective, the Neural Amplifier should significantly increase our resistance to mindworm attacks.

With the strong vote of the people being for a further understanding of the world, we devote all our base facility creation efforts towards boosting scientific output. Research hospitals and network nodes are going to spring up everywhere. And to keep these secrets safe, Sofaer's Soiree begins work on a secret extensive anti-spy system. Maybe once it is complete we can tinker our social engineering a bit more.

2350: Miriam's last gasp attempt to send her Impact Infantry into my lands via xenofungus sounds a disastrous defeat. I raze one of her six remaining strongholds to the ground. Will her god save her from utter annihilation at my hands?

2351: Sneaky sneaky Miriam just built a land bridge to give her backdoor access to her old continent. I'll let her improve the land before capturing it.
    Sneaky landbridge.png

Miriam.PNG : They'll never notice me terraforming their backyard!
1417.jpg : Ozzopolis is always watching. I must report this security breach to the Shippingmaster.

2352: Deirdre Shallows founded just off a small island in between Broken and ex-Believing territory. On the edge of our Believing conquests, Virgin Soil is founded as well.

2353: Another energy market crash brings our credit reserves to 637. Screw the energy exchange commission and all of their fear mongering nonsense about organic superlubricant futures. Our new technology shouldn't crash the market, but it might if they keep this up.
    Superlubing it up.png

Fallow Time is founded to the North of our captured Believing cluster. Things are getting pretty sprawling at this point.

    Believing Area 2.png

Miriam's old captured bases are for the large part not rioting, and have turned away from their Believing-style architecture. Some renaming is in order. Ehm Ecksham, Nerysian Fields, Mind Elementary School and Stargazer's Citadel have shed their Believing identity and fully embraced the Broken way of life.

Sofaer's Soiree reports a mineral bust. Leading team members say that it would be impossible to continue on with the spy network in their current state and send their materials to Nereid Bay for further work. Hopefully Nereid Bay will not fall prey to similar issues.

2354: Stargazer's Folly, trying to shake their only claim to fame being the Broken landing site on planet, create the Xenoempathy Dome. and environment in which citizens can understand the fungus which litters most of planet. As such, those brought up in Broken homes now understand how to move on fungus as if it were a road.

Miriam's Landbridge has now become a gateway for her troops to cross once again. I might need to postpone some of my lab equipment to deal with this new development.

    Believing Area 1.png

Fortunately, it looks like Miriam's still dealing with drones, so I might not have to rush into a counter-offensive immediately with my diminished supply of credits.

2355: And Santiago has decided that she wants war again. Crazy wench. Looks like research will have to wait in a big way then. What is it with all these aggressive women?
    Clearly not republican.png
My physical being matters not, when it is powers of the mind that will destroy you. We Hatofulian MacArthurs pride ourselves on PSI. Do your best not to forget that.

2356: Oh Miriam, making that landbridge just gives me free reign to crush that lonely base. Meanwhile, I'm actually kind of scared of the Spartans. Even with double their health, battles against her legion have been startlingly close. I really can't afford to let Santiago a foothold in Santorum Sanctum territory because the chain effect will be the fall of both the Hive and the Morganites.

On the plus side Advanced Ecological Engineering is in effect. More gateway techs to Psi warfare.
    Ecological Engineering.png .

But the downside is that Planet doesn't like us right now, I think.

What did I do to piss off planet.png

Oh god, the worms. The worms are everywhere. I hope that my 75% capture rate can net us some naturally competently military.

2357: Miriam is now using trance units. Trance is an upgrade that greatly increases resistance to PSI attacks. Basically, she's using them to spite me. It still won't help her. The Spartans captured one of Miriam's bases after I whittled it down.

Santiago.PNG : Too slow, you fat wealthy pig.
Miriam.PNG : Come on, at least act like I'm relevant.
    Deidre.PNG : Don't worry, I won't let her have it.

I proceed to raze it to the ground in retaliation.

Deidre.PNG : Too weak, you opportunistic warmonger.
Miriam.PNG : There's a special place in hell for both of you.

With my stodgy northmen in the Quatoria Northlands is now pumping out convention missiles every 2 turns, reckoning will be soon. The Spartans will pay for this many times over.

    2358:
Nereid Bay Completes what Sofaer's Soiree could not. The Hunter-Seeker Algorithm anti-spying network is set up. I can change from wealth to Research with absolutely no downside.

And now people are just declaring war for the sake of declaring war. The Spartans have cajoled the Peacekeepers into a joint attack effort. To punish them both, I seize U.N. Disaster Relief, which was ironically a Spartan base.
    Hotly Contested Turf 2.png

I also take Morgan Industries, which was owned by the Spartans. I might cede it to Morgan if things get a bit rough for him.
    Hotly Contested Turf 1.png
Miriam continues to ineffectually fling units at me. I'm using them as training fodder for my incredibly green air force. It's like she wants to help me at this point.
Miriam.PNG : SPECIAL PLACE IN HELL, I SAID.
I hope that her forces at least get to go to heaven.

2360: Santiago says that all I need to do to end the war is stop being nice to Morgan. Morgan isn't hurting the Planet by huddling in his single, constantly under Spartan attack base. In fact, I'm pretty much the only thing keeping him alive at this point, with the Santorum Sanctum territory being the only thing between him and Yang's forces, who also hate his guts (the Sanctum being between two warring parties, why does that sound familiar?).
    2013-02-06 18_07_38-Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri.png
I politely turn her down, and then airdrop into the Spartan occupied U.N. Criminal Tribunal, demolishing it completely as an extra courtesy.

2361: More weapon tech has been discovered. We are also at the point where we can build orbital energy platforms to massively boost our energy yield per base.
    Spaceflight.png

More funding for research, research, research. I switch our researcher's paths to "Wealth and Infrastructure" and the "The Advance of Pure Knowledge" to contrast with the "Colony Growth" and "Military Applications" settings I had been using previously. I also make my first native Spartan capture at Parade Ground.

    Parade Ground Secured.png

Holding this location might be difficult, with the Spartan Gatling infantry cluster a mere two turns away.

2362: Elyscape's Like-a-torium finally cleanses its last drone. For the first time in roughly 60 turns, all of Elyscape's citizens 'like' their leadership. Or rather they're just okay with it.
    2013-02-06 19_26_48-Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri.png

Nerysian Fields discovers a new source of edible planet-life, giving them a boost in nutrient output. I eagerly look forward to their Golden Age bonuses as I strip worker from the fields to become Empaths and Engineers for extra labs bonuses.
The Holy Fire, finally loses its attachment to Miriam. To celebrate, I rename it The Holy Sofaer.
U.N. Headquarters is razed utterly by a combination of Himochoppers and Ozzonian Orbital Enforcers. After that display of power, I think I'm going to have a little chat with Lal.
    2013-02-06 18_45_48-Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri.png

    Tree-crazy? I'm pretty sure that's an insult.
He asks for 800 credits reparations. Like I'm going to pay because he chose the wrong side. Fortunately for him, I'm not actually scared of his presence, will be devoting most of my time to the Spartan front. Besides, most of his bases are in the water, which can't be dropped into. I guess I should start getting a navy to deal with that. It's not like I don't have naval yards at LANDLOCKED BASES.

    Naval Yards.png
Nessus Shining: Where you can own a boat, but there's no water for miles.

2363: Miriam sends a probe team for some nefarious purposes. It's a good thing I'm immune to them thanks to the Hunter-Seeker Algorithm.
    Fuck you Miriam.png
Miriam.PNG : I am seriously going to have to go and rethink my life.

After dealing with Miriam's wholly useless espionage team, Brokenite infantrymen captured the Spartan occupied U.N. Court of Justice. Santiago chats me up to ask if I enjoy being obliterated and then doesn't allow me to answer before hanging up. Rude.

Himochi is Awequatic is founded near a relatively large uninhabited island. Nobody will be around to hear them scream when Isles of the Deep come and attack their undefended base.

2364: The Spartans have built a couple of Needlejets, so I no longer am the sole occupant of the skies. It won't matter if she can't go on the offensive though. Gotta press my tech advantage to the max and abuse the hell out of copters multiple attacks per turn. After a double copter blitz rush into her territory I manage to secure Fort Survivalist and completely empty Bunker 118 of defense forces. I absolutely have to keep her air force on the defensive.

2365: The Spartans have run out of funding to hurry units, or just need that money for other reasons. I know this because they still don't have a defender in Bunker 118. Mock us for pursuing wealth all you want Santiago, seems like you could do with a bit more of it.
    2013-02-06 19_14_21-Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri.png
Bunker 118, Blast Rifle Crag and U.N. Humanity Base are belong to me now.

God, I don't WANT to win militarily, but these assholes just won't let me make peace without dropping Morgan as a Pact Brother. What the hell did Morgan do to you? Also, I forgot that unlike Miriam, who gets tons of free support for her units, Santiago does not. I think I might have already severely crippled her forces.
Should I press on until she crumples, or try to extend an olive branch if she'll let me?

    Our foothold in Spartan Territory:
    Spartan Territories 1.png
    Spartan Territories.png

2366: It's over. The conventional missile salvo (7 missiles) from the Quatoria Northlands stockpile arrived in Spartan territory this turn. I was able to take 5 Spartan bases. But she won't even answer my comms. I fear for our militaristic friend's survival.

Sarashaland builds the first of many Orbital Energy Platforms. It is also the first base to reach 12 population units. Congratulations citizens.
    Sarashaland.png

2367: The mindworms that I've been moving around in the remains of Believer territory have captured enough of each other to seize Divinity base from her grasp. I didn't even have to make any units to put Miriam down. She's just that pathetic at this point. Apparently not answering my comm messages either to hammer out surrender terms.
    Divinity Base.png
Miriam's rule has not made these people happy. Time to use my ample resources to rush a Recreation Commons.

2368: Sparta Command has been captured. Hopefully with their capital gone, the Spartans will-... they're still not answering the comm. They have just four bases left and refuse to negotiate. I take Ironholm as well, because of their noncommunication. I'm just trying to make peace with these jerks, why is that so hard?

2369: Finally, Santiago comms me. Hopefully to discuss a peace treaty. No, it's just more angry threats against the Morganites. Seriously, Morgan must be an absolute dick when I'm not around. Remind me not to invite him to parties.

2370: Snarktopolis Completes the Cyborg Factory. This effectively counteracts a lot of the military penalties I was having. Now I'm pretty much unstoppable in all respects. After taking 2 of the remaining Spartan bases, she swears a pact to serve me. Excellent. No need to worry about that anymore.

2371: I give Yang 100 credits for tolerating our democratic existence. He earns me at least 30 per turn by being a friend, so this is just to make sure he doesn't sever our ties. He grumbles a bit about Morgan being a piece of shit but takes the money anyway. And hey, Golden Age in Fort Superiority.
    Golden Age.png

    2373:
    WHY YANG.png
Yang declares war on me. Man, every time I give him a present it lessens his opinion of me. Citizens of Garden of the Deep display their displeasure with my leadership by rioting. To make them happy, I pull some of the workforce off of producing food so that they will starve a bit. That'll teach them to demonstrate peacefully.

2375: Yang's first strike force has been wiped out, but not without significant infrastructure damage to the Santorum Sanctum improvements. The U.N. Peacekeepers get a base seized as my first U.S.S. Elyscaper enters service. Lal, if you declare war for no reason, you should probably defend your bases with troops.
Dreams of Green and Silverbird Park founded in Spartan territory. Both already have drones. Brokenites on the whole are getting angrier and more resentful of their leadership.

    Oh.png

Aaaand the Peacekeepers are fearful of anyone who is too powerful. Oops. Never going to get them on my side now. Well, to prove I'm not a complete dick, I give him back U.N. Commerce Committee and U.N. Equality Village, which WAS a Spartan sea base.
    Hopefully he'll stay peaceful.

2376: The Believers call me just to bitch me out. I think it's time to end Miriam's existence.

2377: Photon walls are now mine. Even stronger defenses that we don't really need at this point.
    Photons.png

Believers have stopped believing. They couldn't hold on to that feeling anymore. Forgot to screencap her demise, but rest assured, Miriam will not be having any prayers answered.
Miriam.PNG : My place in hell isn't special enough. I demand a refund.

Fadeaccompolis, Zineronia, (S)e(a)boby and The Flowers Preach founded. Time to expand like crazy.

2378: The Hive have airpower and used it to bombing run My Soul So Darktown. Fortunately, that area actually has a lot of defense from the days of Spartan threat, so I get to keep my base. In retaliation I take Morgan Interstellar. Maybe I can bargain with him?
    THe odd.png
Sadly, he just demands orbital spaceflight and the usual Morgan bashing. But at least he's decently polite about it.

2379: After I exhaust 90% of the troops committed to the counteroffensive, The Hive falls after 14 units of defense. Ozzo was right, this guy takes his security VERY seriously. I lost all but 4 of my remaining Sofaer Shockwaves.

Many new bases are founded, including Buttspongeopolis the haven for all those who find juvenile humor riotously funny.

2380: Cutecat Cove founded along with 2 other bases. Our tech output will soon drop to once every 4 turns. It might be time to switch to a 'Research' form of government.

2381: After some consideration, our governmental type has been switched to 'Research'. This actually had very little effect on our earnings. Fellowship City falls. The Hive is running out of steam, so I will offer an olive branch.
    He knows when to quit.png
Unlike Miriam, Yang knows when he's beat. At least now he can work on rebuilding his empire of security. He also says he'll continue his payments on a loan I made him a while back. No hard feelings buddy. I'm seriously considering giving him back everything I took but The Hive itself, since that had The Weather Paradigm wonder and I am loathe to just throw that away.

Ozzo: Would you like Ozzopolis ceded to the good chairman?

I will never forget when I pried you away from Miriam's angry gaze, Ozzopolis. We had some great times together.
Additionally, I've switched my economic balance switch to 70% science and 30% economy. Thanks to all the orbital energy satellites I'm still making about 100 energy per turn, while getting tech upgrades every 2/3 turns depending on Drone activity.

2382: Randissimocean and Love Fuzzy #9 founded. I ring up Yang to see how Ozzopolis is getting along, but before I can say anything he has a couple of choice words to speak about what a dickbag Morgan is. Seriously, this happens every time I chat him up.

I give Fellowship City back to Yang because he was a good sport about surrendering.
Ozzopolisians rejoice in their shared heritage and a profitable future. But not so much as to overstep Yang's authority. Too much partying is unsafe.

2384: Founding lots of bases. I terraformed some land in the north to make a large energy collecting mountain, but forgot that I was building a sea colony pod there. When the sea colony pod was produced, it was trapped by land. Whoops. Will continue making the largest mountain up there if possible...FOR SCIENCE! 2388: Fontaine of Youth completes the SuperCollider. MOAR SCIENCES.
    Centauri Psi.png
Very important upgrade to our resource gathering, and an absolute necessity for figuring out just what is going on with Chiron.

2392: The hard and diverse population of the metropolis Sarashaland has devised a way to make city life less strenuous on the average citizen. Using the powers afforded to us by some of the unique plant life on Chiron, Sarashaland's finest have come up with a Longevity Vaccine that will greatly increase the regenerative properties of body tissue.

2393: Locusts of Chiron, YEAH! Psychic never needs to be refueled airforce? Brokenites will never really need it, but as a scientific curio, these guys are pretty nifty.
    Locusts, yeah.png

I can straight up buy a secret project at this point and am terrified of yet another energy market crash, so the Pholus Mutagen is produced in Madar Foxfort.

2396: Ozzo's Enclave builds the Cloning Vats. Everybody's making babies. I also founded about 9 more bases. Tech Stagnation is KILLING my research output though. I still haven't been able to bring it to 1 per turn.

2397: I implement a future society option, Cybernetic society, to increase our efficiency, planet and research rating. The downside is an awful -3 to my policing score. I have a feeling Yang won't be too happy about this one.
Additionally the -3 policing effect is that 1/4 of my bases suddenly go into drone riot mode. Urgh. Maybe I should have thought this out. Fortunately, with our ecological wisdom where it is, Xenofungus squares now produce 3 nutrients, 1 energy and a 1 mineral, so every single base with multiple fungus squares is getting a massive boost, and won't starve when I take workers out of the fields.

2398: Did I say that Drone Riots happened at 1/4 of the bases? I meant ALL of my bases. Except for Quatoria Northlands and Ozzo's Enclave.

    Quatoria Golden Age.png

They have become exceedingly efficient at missile creation.

    Ozzo's Golden Age.png

Their hardy stock have decided that instead of rioting they're getting down to business and working overtime to make up for the rest of my citizens. Way to go dudes. Hmmm.. Ozzo's enclave being well behaved? I wonder if it's a coincidence.

Not having a policing bonus might mean that I have to actually put some energy into Psych if I don't want the Broken populace to be a teeming mass of hatred. I wish Ozzo was here. He would have known what to do with all of these drones. I gave Yang a sombrero, like my other longstanding adviser Mr. Stargazer suggested.
Yang.PNG : I do not understand why you have presented this to me. Is there some sort of nanomechanism inside that would allow me to control the emotions of my citizens?

He did not understand. Explaining 'dance' to him was equally fruitless.

2399: Fadeaccompolis' riots have gotten so bad they destroyed the pressure dome that was prevent their base from being overrun by the surrounding ocean. Their own stupidity has drowned them all, and I couldn't do a damn thing about it. CURSE YOU SCIENCE! With the loss of their lives, I finally give in and raise our psych money to 20%. We're still making about 300 energy per turn, and this way our citizens won't riot themselves to untimely watery graves.

Hopefully I won't have to switch governments again. I might have to drop democracy if these riots continue.

Deidre.PNG : Yang, I hardly think a leader as commanding an charismatic as yourself would need such technology to get the same results.
Yang.PNG : Well, I suppose that is true. Say, have I told you how much of a dick Morgan is lately? Because you should remember that.

Morgan has been sitting in his one base without any minerals to build base facilities because he keeps on holding onto the Sofaer Shockwave I gifted him when Santiago was attacking him and refuses to switch to a government with a higher support rating. I'm feeling definitely closer to understanding this whole mindworm/planetmind business.

Teleportation is sweet. Also, fungus is officially the best square in the game for me. Funny how that works out.

2405: Fadeaccompolis is refounded. A brief memorial service is held as the flotsam from the old base is reused in the new facilities. Shippingmaster Protagchan herself makes a brief appearance and even through the guise reshaped by the Longevity Vaccine it is clear that she spends an increasing amount of time in the cryovats and regeneration chambers. Only 13 of the original colonists from the Broken Unity Pod still inhabit their naturally born bodies.

2412: Our old advisor Ozzo has left a communique with us, saying that only the most perfect citizens are left in Ozzopolis. ¾ of the base has either left, starved or... I hate to think what else might have happened. Nonetheless, his base has reached his idea of perfection, and I can only hope that he has found his paradise.

2$1*: Creature comforts are at an all time high, as Protagchan hands the entertainment ministry over to aspiring upstart Angie Gallant. Psych rates throughout the Broken community are raised to an astounding 50%. Additionally, our prototype flying Ebabymaker touches down on the island in the middle of Lal's sea, founding Failure Herowich – our 120th base (if we count both the first Fadeaccompolis and Ozzopolis *sniff*).

It seems that the Longevity Vaccine won't be enough to keep us going. What a pity. Never fear, the proud citizens of Sarashaland will do our best to create a better, more effective vaccine! One that will actually get rid of crow's feet and other signs of aging!

My goodness. Our love for the missile may have been so strong it stunned the entire planet into hibernation! Well, glad that's taken care of. Thank you for bearing with us while the Network Node was under repair. We hope you enjoyed our complementary tickets to the Paradise Garden as recompense.

2417 – Planet is getting extremely active. Our defenses in Mindworm Pass were breached by an onslaught of no fewer than 8 mindworms and a Locust of Chiron. Balut's Briny Base came to the rescue to prevent further invasion by dropping 3 Beaters of Ass into the city walls. Needless to say, I am somewhat grateful for the mayor's orders.
    Mindworm Pass woes.png

2419 – Rot's Mycology Lab and Ferdielab Spore Colony have started to produce colony pods at a rate of 1 per turn. Gearing up to make a whole ton of small bases as we near the big time.

2420 – We are about 4 techs from completing the tech tree.
    SO CLOSE.png

2421- I am trying a very aggressive colonization initiative in Lal's ring of influence. I plan to make as many bases close to his border as possible to put more territory under my control and slowly squeeze him out of the good resource squares. If he doesn't want to trade his materials through friendship, I intend to capitalize on the resources he is neglecting.

2422- 4 bases are founded on the border of Lal territory, with two more sea colony pods on the way. Additionally Failure Herowich has 2 normal pods on land waiting to squeeze him from the other direction.

2423- Yang rings me up to tell me that Morgan is still a whiny toady. Seeing as Morgan is the ONLY faction on Planet who has not attacked me yet, I am still not inclined to agree.

2424 – Plan 'be a dick to Lal's space' seems to have backfired as he has attacked my incoming colony pods without warning.

This was also the year that The Hive finally wiped Morgan completely off the board through use of planes and a transport ship which I kindly ignored. It would appear that I didn't do enough of a good job gifting units to Morgan. Oh well, he was apparently a dick anyway.
    Morgan Falls.png
I am the worst pact sister.

These are dark times, and as such Mindworm Pass and several of my northwestern territories were absolutely bombarded by Locusts of Chiron and run of the mill mindworms again. This ended up tearing through the meager 1-3 unit defenses and preying directly on the population. As Protagchan holds an emergency meeting to deal with this issue, a familiar voice pops into our head.
    Transcendence incoming.png
Planet is a little upset at the amount of pollution in the area and if glad it won't be hurting US directly, since we're friends. Cute. This still means that I'll have to deal with her... pruning methods.

This is where I am douby glad for Balut and Quatoria's instructions as to combat the local mindworm menace; I exhausted the 9 conventional missile stockpile and orbitally insert all but one of the remaining Sir Phobos: Beater of Ass into my defenseless bases. Some good forwards thinking by my gubernatorial staff.

I will have to hurry some things .to appease our planet friends. From the wreckage of battle with the native life, most likely some more nature preserves, I was able to retrieve about 900 energy credits, so their sacrifices will not be entirely in vain.

2425- We now have access to transcendence tech and may be hatching a plan behind planet's back.
    It begins.png

That'll teach her to try and prune my people.

    SO VERY CLOSE.png
It's happening guys. We're making it happen.

In a race to preserve our 13 original colonizers, Fatbirds Foothills narrowly beats Sarashaland to the discovery of Clinical Immortality. No plaguing worries about crow's feet or aging will affect citizens. Mindworm Pass is granted a large grant to ease the pain of being absolutely demolished by the Mindworm attack and finishes 'The Space Elevator' which will make all our bases capable of producing orbital satellites.
Elemental Mines also discover a new refining process to up mineral output and produces a prototype Bulk Matter Transmitter.
While all of these wonders are going on deep within Broken territory, Yang and Lal are forcing all of my excess military towards undefended bases in the southwest. I have successfully managed to avenge the ships that ruthlessly attacked my undefended colonists and will be turning towards making Lal pay dearly for his aggression.

    2426-
Yang has exhausted all of his troops in a fruitless assault on The Hive. My first gravship is built for the purposes of wrecking everything in its path.
I take Fellowship City (which still takes a considerable effort despite having 4X as much health and firepower) from the Hive.
    Cannot bring myself.png
    Sorry old friend.

U.N. Sea Habitat, U.N. Ocean Authority, U.N Equality Village and U.N. Commerce Committee all fall from Lal's control. I will gladly accept his surrender, if his pride will allow his remaining 4 bases any mercy.

Also, I can learn nothing more that is useful.
    2013-03-01 07_55_47-Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri.png
I'll get one of these every 2 turns for extra points.

    2427 – Lal gets it.
Why are you doing this Lal.png

No more attacking my citizens in exchange for not being annihilated is a good deal. Since I still want his bases, I buy two off of him for the sum total of 4000 energy credits (this is two turns worth for me). And after we reach that agreement he complements me for choosing democracy. What an enigmatic man.
And my god, why am I being attacked by 40+ mindworms near Yang territory? I might lose my first base to enemy capture if our friend planet keeps on being this aggressive. Rot's Mycology Lab is in severe danger of being annihilated.
  37. Mind Elemental Hard Cider Gal

Hurrah! Looking forward to the final phase of our journey with Planet!

Now that Lal has been brought to heel, what kind of force can you deploy against Yang?
  38. Elfaleon Already Beat BF's New Expansion

I honestly think my military is better suited to defending against these massive mindworm attacks. I plan on dispatching my gravship and one our two maxed out choppers at Yang to see he will also see reason.
Ozzopolis shall remain untouched, as my friendship with Ozzo is absolute.
  39. Mind Elemental Hard Cider Gal

Aha, got it! How does Yang's technology compare to ours? Those renegade LUMinaries can't have been his state of the art...
  40. Elfaleon Already Beat BF's New Expansion

Yang's technology as far as I can ascertain is VERY far behind ours. He has access to fusion lasers, but his defenses are not any better than just one level above that LUMinary. Really, it wouldn't be a challenge to take him out, but I'm more worried about keeping my own bases from being ravaged by Planet itself.
