I'm a horrible person making a horrible game

WHOO MOVED. So for those that are unaware, I'm making a really shoddy RPG of BF (mostly the LP forum, but we'll see what else we can toss in) using RPGMaker VX Ace.

This is the place where I will be posting updates and information regarding the development of this travesty.

I like your attitude. Absolutely brimming with positivity.

As of right now, I have finished:

• Elyscape good ending
• Elyscape bad ending
• First dungeon (sans videet meeting)
• Eboby's Harem Haven
• First few lines of Eboby's greeting
• Entering of Eboby's HH depending on whether or not Videet is in the party
• Meeting and adding of Davian Korran to the party

I still need to:

• Finish the other dungeons
• Make other towns
• Make Davian Korran and PARAdoxial and CuteCat and others
• Fill out Forumville
• Learn how to properly have characters added to the party and stop appearing on the map when in the party (I need a "when actor is not in the party option, fuck.)

Most recent version of this game!This version is only playable if you already have RPGMaker VX Ace installed.

THIS, however, is an .exe that should make it so the game is playable if you do not have RPGMaker VX Ace installed. If it's not let me know.
Included in the download is a save file in which the first dungeon has already been passed. The item that is Videet's placeholder is already in the inventory, should you choose to load.

The small hut on the upper right of Flying Pig Island is where the Elyscape route happens, by the by.

Since this is a much more stable thread than OZZO OZZO SENSATION, I'll post this link here, for a really useful character face portrait creator. I can't track down where I found it from, but there's a rehost of the .zip on my computer.

And now my greatest pain will be knowing I still have at least 8 hours of work before I can play this

Okay I played some of your demo! I hadn't thought that it would be in VX (or is it VX Ace?) and oh gosh the RTP from VX is so cuutee! UwU

First, you left a save file in the folder. Second, the bit I saw of the first dungeon before getting murderized was awesome. Third, I like!

Also, in case anyone wants to play it in fullscreen, you just gotta hit Alt + Enter.

and yeah, that save is for people that don't wanna risk being murdered to get the key item inside. That file WILL be gone in the final cut.

Run-time package! It's the default graphics, which I think can be installed from the RPG Maker website to play the games easily. One can also download the 30 day trial to get it. It's a real pain when trying to distribute RPG Maker games that use it.

The version I got that doesn't need RPGMaker doesn't actually have a save file in it. Also holy crap the enemies are HARD.

Technically, I think most breathe oxygen dissolved in water.

I'm currently getting the actual RTP itself since it seems to download faster than the .exe you provided ;A;

Anyway, looking forward to this game and hopefully, the lot of us can make an appearance there! OwO

yeah about that.
it's uh. it's a touch...g-grindy, since I kind of just tossed enemies of all levels all over the place.

Oh. I thought I was doing horribly since I kept dying when I tried to attack. I checked the special attacks to hope that heroine has some sort of hidden abilities like "Canon" (with a tag line of "RELEASE THE CANON!") or "Like Saber" but alas, none.

With the sprites, did you make them yourself along with the character portraits? Really good if I do say!

I think I got an Elyscape ending and it was simply beautiful. Gonna play more later!!

I recommending giving ability bonuses for picking and eating mushrooms, just to level the field.

I thought I could be the creepy doctor that heals the party for a fee, but I see you already have an inn for those kind of thing XD Or maybe I could be the one that "revives" party mebers? (In some rpg resting at the inn doesn't revive the ko characters, but I don't know about this game).

also, I firmly believe that mecha combat makes every game better

none of that stuff with with power of friendship prevailing over all, either

I like my mecha series/games/whatever dry, and with most of the cast dead at the end

it is a gritty grimdark wartime world, and there's only war and limited animation

I need someone to be my guinea pig and play through the game normally so I know what level I should put Videet at when you encounter her (after beating the first, and right now only, dungeon).
