Well, all that being said, I feel like kind of a dildo for the things I've said in this thread. Now that Mirage is watching, I'm kind of scared to consider LPing. I will at least finish Neody's route that I have screenshoted, but I'm going to have to think about if I want to do the rest of the routes, and especially in my current style. It's always a risk starting an LP and I had hoped to go stealth on an old game, eheheh... Damn.

1) Ah, my apologies if I came across that way to you. I have no intention to accuse anyone from ripping anything. In fact, I have never seen it happened. I'm merely addressing that you don't have to feel guilty for using guide online. That's all. If it makes you all enjoy the game even more then I'm happy. :)

You're probably right about the guide, but since it's an old story, I'm leaving it as it is. I'm just trying to clarify why things ended up the way it is. ^^; Well, I still make marketing mistakes even to this day. It's tough to make a living ^^;

Well, I have thought of making OASE an extended version of OA, however I scrapped the idea because I felt it would be a repetition if it's about the same characters. I'm a challenger at heart and prefer to always try something new. ^^;

As for the girls being unimpressive, I wonder if you meant Zelan and Rosey, or you meant the entire cast of the girls?

I'd like to thank you for making this wonderful LP and everyone who participates in this thread. You guys made my day XD;;; I wish I can make free games but live has to come first sadly ;_;

I admire how hard you're trying to break into a tough market independantly. I've been rooting for you for a long time, since I like your style in games. And yeah, the book is a very old thing it was just a thought. I really woudl love to see the extended artbook, honestly. If I ever have the funds to throw at it, I still might, especially since I've invested the time into the game to do this LP and all.

Well, I guess I never got as interested in teh girls as the boys? I don't directly dislike anybody but Rosey, and that's for the way she comes off in Imaginary Realm. There is nothing to like about her, I wanted to bash her face in as much as Yumbrad. She's really bad to Orem, who as far as the story shows, is totally innocent and well-meaning. I get trying to keep YUmbrad from revenge, but screaming at Orem because your recipies are disgusting and totally ruining their lives? Kind of not endearing. And Nachel got so little substant in IR 2 I just don't know enough about her to care. She might be interesting in OASE when you get to know her in detail, but again, she comes off poorly in IR2 when she's nothing but an apathetic waitress.

I have nothing against Zelan, I just never saw her as being as deep as some of the other characters. Sh ekind fo felt more like 'generic energetic tomboy' that her own distinct character. Again, nothing to particularly dislike about her, she makes a pretty cool companion, but I always felt liek she faded into the background, outshined by Lenz, Zoui, and even Aeza. Oh, and Neody's such a weird freakjob now and then, I end up paying more attention to him even. xD

I really always WANTED to like Aeza, and again, don't dislike, but... When she got some development in Genetic Glow 2, if I remember correctly, she kind of go tunder my skin. She speaks in riddles and acts in such a way as to drive people off from her, and I've never liked tsunderes, even subtle ones. Still, if I had OASE, she's probably the person I'd pursue first. If there's anyone I've forgotten, I think that speaks for itself. xD

I do understand wanting to take the game in another direction so it was fresh. And the expanded world and free roaming and details was pretty cool. Even if I wasn't super excited with the whole package of OASE, it had a good number of merits and was not a BAD game by any means.

You didn't jack up the LP Mirage! I'm stressed out from work, and I feel like a douchbag for having criticized you. I've made a number of attempts at little gaming projects for funsies, and it's freaking difficult. I still admire what you do and love a lot of your work. It's an honor to have gotten to talk to you about this!

So. I'm waay too damn tired from the waking nightmare that ahs been my job for the last two days. My schedule is messed up so that I don't have a lot of free time to fight with my computer and do this stuff. I actually really like the next two routes and they're not this long, so I plan on doing them eventually. Expect the next update maybe around Friday since I'm off then and Saturday, finally.

Right now, I am so tired. : (

So I got to come home from work early because the last two days of work gave me excruciating, stabbing back and leg pain and I couldn't work much longer. :'D

Anyway, I'm going to try to screenshot and prepare the next route tonight since I'm not as tired. Might have an update as soon as tonight or tomorrow. No promises.

So imgur is giving me 'image failed to upload' messages on a large portion of this routes pictures. Literally, I tried them multiple times, in multiple files and file types. What the fuck. So if anyone has any advice there, I'm all ears.

For now, the begining stuff came through ok. So I'll hit you with who we're dealing with next and try to upload the other stuff tomorrow. I think @Dokuso and @Miaki-san will be excited since they decided the next tiebreaker.

Seriously though, I have warm fuzzies for Zoui, I enjoy hanging out with him. A lot of the characters are very different in the context of their games, which can surprise you. Neody. But I only liked Zoui MORE for playing Genetic Glw. He's really endearing, even if he is a gluttonous ass every so often. xD

Oh and for Nitarou fans, here's her by herself to get a godo look at. If you stare at her alone, you can tell she's a short-haired female. Look at her body shape and stuff. She's got sweater meat.
