By the way, just to make sure everyone is clear on this, generals can betray us, get captured or even killed in battle. I'll try my best to retain all your characters and make sure they're safe, but obviously, I can't guarantee that everyone we start with will be there at the end, especially given that campaigns in this game can sometimes lay 20+ ingame years.

I didn't know, but it's not necessarily a bad thing. The element of the unexpected is often the most entertaining part of any LP, insane crafting of headcanon aside.

I'd like to say that my character will die a glorious death on the battlefield.
But he'll probably get captured in a minor border skirmish where he outnumbers the enemy 2 to 1 and spend the rest of the game languishing in a dungeon.

I actually liked Amano in TMGS, so he doesn't weird me out that bad! Only a little bit. So Toni will totally marry him for connections and observation.

I kind of expect to be killed really early on and never do anything of use, especially since my character is so specialized compared to everyone else. WHATEVER I'll roll with it.

Mine is dumb as a brick but strong. I sounds like a commander should be smart to be successful, you know, so I don't think I'll be able to last too long either.

I suppose that my girl will betray Snark, since her likes and courtly disposition seems to contradict everybody else's.

Either that, and if this game allows it, I expect some of your characters to jump and assassinate me during the night.

When I am done drunk-sitting I will put up a bio for Qian Lei and unless someone wants to be her spouse, that should be it. I don't really want to dick around with liked/disliked officers.

I think Lesgle is fine as he is, too. Unless someone wants to jump on Disliked or Liked because he isn't married in the canon. Or by a cannon. Though that might be what kills him, I can't remember how he's shot.
