Ooh me! Perfect, I'm going to try to make a manipulative character and schemers usually don't like other schemers.

Hey guys, just a heads up, with characters as powerful as the ones we're submitting, the game might be tad on the easy side.

Granted, most the other forces will have generals with two stats in the 90s, they tend to only have ten or fewer (out of 40+ generals).

Now, I don't mind either way, and if you guys want über powerful characters, I'm happy to oblige :) but just note that having two stats 90+ is top tier stuff.

I'll try to mitigate the effect of having so many powerful generals by picking a terrible starting location for our force, but yeah, just something to keep mind of.

Edit: I notice there's a few questions asked earlier in the thread, I'll respond to those later; I'm watching tv right now =P

Since Failure Hero's character and mine are best friends, I expect Qian will show up a lot as a disliked officer too.

I really, really feel bad about how much work it's going to be to untangle all these posts and make all these characters.

But I'm also really, really looking forward to watching this wacky soap opera (with more armies!) play out in the game.

Also, re: difficulty, Snark, feel free to nerf Qian some, then. I really don't have any grasp of how everything works in this; I'd like her to still be useful without being completely overpowered and I don't know how to balance everything out.

Can I give JohnStargazer three cheers for the Suikoden reference? Now we have two of the four classics (kinda, sorta, vaguely) represented.

Here's my work-in-progress. I put Bio at the top because I tried to keep the character's abilities consistent with the biographical shtick. :p From a gameplay perspective, I tried not to make the character too much of a munchkin. He should be a poor man's Zhuge Liang: fair-to-middling at most things and downright incompetent in a duel ("uh, which end of the sword do I hold?"), but very, very good at befuddling enemy units, stun-locking them, or making them fight each other! Snark - let me know if you'd like me to scale his stats up or down. :D

Okay, this looks like it's going to be awesome. I've never actually have a chance to play this game so I am all for this. Also I kind of wanted to create a character inspired by a character from a novel and see if anybody gets the reference.
