Man, I worked on my birthday, and my coworker took the day off. Granted, we have the same birthday, but still... This year I think I'll take the day off and put in a few hours as a poll worker for the state primary election instead.
On my birthdays I like to sit on the roof with a case of beer and think about whether I'm old enough that it's time to jump. Not yet! But thirty is coming.
I take the whole week of my birthday off, just to avoid the depression of being stuck doing something stupid at work on my birthday.
I managed to miss my workout class this morning since I only got 5 hours of sleep. I thought I was done around 10 last night, but right as I left, animator dropped a ton of assets on me, which according production that was suppose to be done last night. I was like "reaaaally", it's 10pm, and I got 3 hours of work here, for assets that was promised they will deliver yesterday morning...
