I never got into 5Ds or Zexal but the original and GX were both the bee's knees in my eyes.

I recommend 5Ds. I was determined to not watch 5Ds and then I accidentally stumbled upon a two hour marathon and really got into it. Then I looked all of the episodes up and...you can see where this is going. The only thing that stopped me was the fact that season 3 wasn't airing yet and by the time it did I completely forgot~

Perhaps I shall marathon it one day in that case.

I remember Yu-Gi-Oh being that thing that people who didn't play pokemon cards played (I was and am a pokemoner) in elementary school. It would also show up on tv randomly and I was like, whatever, I'd rather watch Huntik or whatever I watched back then, and then 5Ds started up and I was like sci-fi dystopian cardgames on motercycles and omg who is this guy with amazing hair hellllllloooooooo~ Yusei and then I became a Yu-Gi-Oh fan.

I don't think I'll ever get over my crushes on Joey and Jaden. Even when watching last night I swooned over Joey.
Today at lunch we had to stay inside because it was so hot outside. I played Jenga with a bunch of classmates* until I knocked it over and got out so I watched some other kids who were playing Yu-Gi-Oh with their original decks with Yami card protectors on them. It was awesome until I found out they weren't playing with life points. How can you play duel monsters with no life points?!
*Did I mention I have the best class ever? We all like Pokemon, YGO, Dragon Ball Z, the Internet and we all love and sing along to Tobuscus. Also, today we invented the 'Single Ladies' club, which was me, my friend, and three more classmates, most of which were guys.

We are really godo friends in real life, adn we legitimately wanted to play. His brother said the same thing 'How do you know they're telling the truth?' But we trusted each other. And nothing suspicious happened. He won some, I won some. It was fun!

Also, your school friends sound much cooler than mine, the one I still duel with excluded. And I think i still have a crush on Pegasus. And Bakura. Maybe Marik, a little... A lot of Bakura though, all forms. It's just. You know.

I still really want to just cuddle the good Bakura. Not anything more, just cuddle him, pet his head, and tell him it'll all be okay.

Maybe because almost every other character in the series hurt, manipulated, or otherwise abused Ryo? He seems so damn helpless, how can you not want to save him from his own life? My god...

I'm ashamed of myself. I have never read the Yugioh manga even though I've seen a few pages and it looks absolutely amazing. And now that Vide is talking about it asdhda /sobbing I'll read you yet, dammit!

Was it something during his tabletop arc? It's been a very long time since I saw/read any of it.

I cannot reccomend the original manga highly enough. Or Season 0 of the anime. They are dark, grusome, and AMAZING. The story had so much more depth.

Manga Joey has all my respect compared to anime Joey. And so many chars you never meet in the anime because 500 episodes of cardgames.

Well there goes my christmas break. I'll have to clone myself so I can read yugioh and also have the time to play zero's escape and finally finish 5Ds and catch up on the drama list I made during the loverevo thread and--- Ten years wouldn't be enough.

Actually, I think he officially got accepted as one of the FRIENDSHIP CIRCLE once they exorcized him. So that's a happy end! He finally got to be a sort-of major character! :D

I watched the anime religiously and I think so too? I couldn't afford all the manga at $10 a volume.

If you look up "Yugioh Manga" you can find it for free. I'd recommend you buy it, though, because otherwise you can't cuddle it!

I don't know if the online free ones have the yugi puzzles the original manga had. I love the two books I have.

Is it weird to cuddle books/mangas? Because I do it anyway. Also, I'm pretty much in a relationship with my DS, so there's that. THEY DOOOOO IT'S GREAT. You can't fill them in, obviously, which is why the physical book is better! It is different, though, as it is a fan translation, so things are different from the manga (such as how 'Yugi' is spelled 'Yuugi').

Vi, if you get your deck at any point in the night, we must duel! I've frakenstein'd by deck so much, I can only win if I DESTINY DRAW with amazing luck. And I just like dueling, it's amazing.

Oh no, it's not just you dear. Yugi really is a baby panda in the original, and every person Yami lights on fire, mind rapes, explodes with nitrogen, or whatever, earns it. It is very satisfying. They seriously live here in Dystopia with me, that world SUCKS.
