I'm actually a type A yandere about Ryou! Namely, all sweet and dere-dere to him. The yan part is towards everyone else who would ever possibly consider hurting him. I am sick of my favorite characters getting hurt all the time.

So....good or bad time to mention I'm one of the poor obsessives who plays well enough to go to the odd Regional Tourneys? Been a while since I've cracked open the book for this long ago, but I could definitely help if you feel you need it to see the rest of the content.

Getting off that subject, I love naming Chazz 'Virgin' and will henceforth refer to him as such. I also recommend the 'Tag Force' games, a series that tears me between nerdy affection and RAGE INDUCED LOATHING because the A.I's cheating brilliance is disabled the exact moment it's working WITH the player and instead becomes brain-numbing idiocy that snatches defeat from the jaws of victory. Even if the partner is supposed to be 'the best character in the show at this moment.'

Is Tag Force a card game, uh, game? I like card game games. I like Duel Masters, if anyone's ever heard of that one. It's really easy, but I can play it for zen purposes. That aside, I really need my buddy fro IRL to teach me to play Magic, because, YuGiOh makes no sense by comparason I'm told.

And it really makes no sense anyway. xD Every card literally has it own's rules.

I've been on a nostalgia trip, does anyone remember this show?

Back when the good of Disney was slowly depleting: 2006. I watched the hell out of that show.

Tag Force is a Yugioh game series, mostly following GX if I remember. It sets you through, each game covers I believe a season or so. You can build up relationships with the characters(Yes, it's even more of an Otome game) and 'tag team' with one of them through the major plot duels. The A.I on your side is frustratingly incompetent.

And Magic is...hard to get into, on a certain level. It is less complicated than Yugioh but...I guess the best phrase is that its' a lot more cut-throat. Yugioh is complicated, yes, but generally speaking, in comparison to Magic, more lenient when putting a newbie versus a non-newbie than Magic, which when dealing with tourney-folk tends to end very quickly.

Like I said, one of the sad folk who actually has been to tourney for both, mostly because I could only make it to a gaming store once every two months growing up. Means card games, which my friends could do in thirty minutes, were more accessible than DnD, which took hours.

If you like Duel Masters, Magic is similar(A LOT of card games copy off Magic- I'd argue Yugioh has stuck around mostly because it IS so different that you can't compare the two) but much faster paced once it gets started.

Edit: I actually saw a handful of episodes of it. Never seemed that good, if only because the jokes get kind of repetitive, but I could be wrong.

It's a PSP series, but the first game was also ported to the PS2 as....I can't remember the name. Beginning of Destiny or something.

I have a PS2 though. Maybe I should get one for Christmas?

I don't know if I'll enjoy Magic or not, I know so little about it. But I liek card games, so I figure it's worth a shot.

I'm the opposite in that, my card store was far away. If I knew of one near by that had tournies, you bet your ass I'd go. Which is not to say I'm good, I just genuinely enjoy dueling.
