Jagged Alliance 2

I always wondered whether you'd hire yourself when you played Jagged Alliance. ;-)

I played it earlier last year, inspired by Arab rebellions in the middle-east. I finished the game and killed the bitch queen in her safe room. I might have lucked out as her head exploded in one of those rare death animations.

Truly you have got to the heart of what the Arab Spring was all about.

As far as I could make out, Thor's incredibly annoying voice was a deliberate balance issue as it's his only downside. Mid-price, Medicine, stealth, martial arts, decent leadership, insane physical stats and maxed intelligence, plus he inexplicably doesn't annoy anyone. He's so good I never end up taking Dr. Q, which is tragic really.

My heart will always be with Blood though. Jellydog!

Has anyone gotten JA2 to work in Windows 8? I never would have upgraded if I had only known...

Gah! I got Shadow killed last night.

We had been camped out at Estoni - about two months into our adventure. Drassen, Cambria, Grumm, and Chitzena had already been taken. His squad got ambushed as they were sleeping and he wasn't carrying a gas mask. Then he got hit with a mustard gas grenade. Grizzly was all choked up.

I'm playing my first game with 1.13. I've figured out most of the changes, but is there any way to swap places with an NPC? The option used to just pop up when you moused over them.

it's Biggins. No wonder I didn't know him, I never played 1.13 or UB. Jesus Christ it's uncanny.

So I finally got around to starting this after picking it up in a Steam sale, and I'm enjoying, but I have one problem - when I have a character pick up an item off the ground, it switches to their personal inventory screen, and I have no clue how to switch it back to the squad view. Save me Eric T. Cheng
