I just bought a docking station from a dude on Ebay, and that docking station when sold new comes with a 130-watt AC adapter. The adapter I received from the Ebay seller is 90 watts; I suspect it's a laptop adapter he found somewhere. I've contacted him, and while he has offered to send me a 130-watt adapter, he claims a 90-watt one would be no problem and that he ships them out with all his docking stations.

Am I right to be concerned? My laptop uses a 90-watt adapter, btw.

Oh, here's the difference between what the docking station says and what the adapter says:

    Docking station input: 19.5V, 6.7A-10.8A
    Adapter output: 19.5V, 4.62A

Yeah, a 90w adapter is going to top out at about 5A. You need the 130W to fully power the docking station.

Although there's no guarantee it wouldn't work, in theory you could run into an issue during periods where your laptop was drawing near its peak power usage.
