More and more officers are patrolling the streets, so Cap'n and I decide to lay low for a while.

Earlier, I'd have definitely thought he was joking or being boastful, but after tonight, I could believe anything.
As we settle in to wait in the alley, I quietly ask him a question I'd been wondering about.

This is the only time I have ever seen this used in a sane, legitimate reason. Not just 'oh I might break your heart' but 'staying around me may get you TORTURED AND EXECUTED because you refuse to snitch to the navy'. So I can't get too frustrated because that's a pretty fucking legitimate concern.
