Let's all play the Nonary Game!

Welcome~!

What's the Nonary Game, you ask? Why, it's a lot like the Prisoner's Dilemma~ You simply vote whether to trust or betray another person! If both trust each other then they both gain points, but if one person betrays then only they gain points while the poor trustful soul loses some of theirs! And if both betray, then neither one will get anything~

Sounds fun, doesn't it? There will be little tricks and riddles to keep your minds sharp in between our votes! Speed is the key when answering -- those who respond first will get little hints, some advice maybe, about this and that~

Oh, there are some more rules of course! Just numbers, nothing important, but we'll handle that later!

We'll go by the same rules as Virtue's Reward! Everybody will begin with 3 points and have to get up to 9 points to win!


Simple enough, no? I'll wait for everyone to vote, and then post the results here for all to see!

Of course, it'd be boring if everyone wins! So... If too many people get up to 9 at the same time, the game will continue until we're at an acceptable amount of winners! In other words, everyone agreeing to ally won't work~

And of course, if you reach 0 points...

... Well, then you're out of the game~

And of course, there will be riddles! The first few people to respond with the correct answer will be given hints of various kinds, so make sure to be quick~

You'll have to reply to me in a more private conversation than this, of course! Saying the answer here is no fun after all. I won't stop you all from tricking each other though~

"When you roll a die, the chances of rolling a three are one in six. The chances of rolling a three twice in a row are one in 36, and the chances of rolling a three three times in a row are a jaw-dropping one in 216.
Let's assume you roll a die three times and get a three each time. Your chances of rolling a three on your next roll are one in how many?"

The first three people to respond correctly will be given a hint! This riddle has been solved!
I may or may not use riddles from Professor Layton all the time. I don't know a lot of them myself but that's never stopped anyone!

As for our first voting, well~ Let's make it easy, let's put them in the order they joined, shall we? (I will manually choose how people are paired, so that'll change depending on events!)
