(Banana flavour, perhaps?)
(I thought it sounded kinky /SHOT.)
"FADE! I'm so proud of you! You're so strong and dependable out there! When you feel better, let's keep training at the shooting range!
You all did so well, I'm so glad you made it!"
Jesus, at this pace I'll need to swap for a red armor pretty soon. Although you could make an argument for the brown pants, I guess.
Oh well, another two weeks in the infirmary for me then! At least make sure to bring me stuff from the bar, it's boring as hell in there... aside from the ocassional haircut, of course.

With the success of Operation Incendiary Wardrobe Hellchild, we've managed to recover a good number of alien corpses and weapon fragments.
We've also been rewarded 4 Canadian scientists as thanks.
Unfortunately, panic has risen across Asia and South America thanks to unchecked alien activity.
On brighter news however, there's a whole bunch of promotions for the squad!
Congratulations to Dr. Doofenshmirtz for both surviving his first mission as well as being our first male Heavy.
Accompli has also been climbing the Heavy ranks, and may now choose to specialise in one of the following:
Firing the primary weapon as the first action no longer ends the turn.
Shooting at or suppressing enemies also confers +10 Aim to any allies’ attacks on those enemies.
Sofaer also performed admirably and has been accorded the rank of Sergeant. Whilst he's already expressed his preference for specialisation, I figured I'd still cover this for the sake of completion:
Force the first reaction shot against this unit each turn to miss.
Close and Personal
Confers +30% critical chance against adjacent targets. The bonus declines with distance from the target.
And with that all out of the way, guess it's time we all kick back for a little bit and watch some tv!
Hey cool! Godzilla's on!
Wait. This isn't Godzilla, it's the news channel.
Oh...oh wow, this doesn't look good.
"Canadian scientist, eh...?" She couldn't resist.
"Doofenschmitz is a heavy! Looks like someone else will be heading on the regimines with us, Accompli! To the firing range!"
Shocked by the tv feed, she pulls off her glasses and rubs her eyes, then gets up to look closer.
"What the fuck is happening now!? Did they just launch a multi-front offensive? Wha... What do we do? We're not big enough, or funded enough to handle this!"
What's going on? Why's everyone so worried about the tiny flat humans being attacked by the relatively bigger but still rather flat thing?
Man, I can hear that movie through my headphones. Turn it down some.
Toni facepalms and shakes her head. "Grantaire, these boxes are projectors which can show things that are happening right now around the world. That is happening. It's real."
... happening? Real? We're all flat people now? Those aliens need to be stopped.
((Grantaire <3 ))
Oh wait...I'm a heavy? Gah. Least fav class :). But at least the gigantic armor means I can hide more alien artifacts under it so I can build my inator!
((Thinking, if it's gonna be taking a while, if I should start RPing anyway, while I wait. /unsure... ))
I will take Holo-targeting, because my shooting at things should be associated with someone being able to aim accurately.
((Why not? It's always fun to have another RP'er :) ))
Hey there! I am a ordinary human, like yourselves! So, how is humanity doing? Well? Good! I am feeling particularly neutral myself, being just a normal human!
... What is going on with the flat glass thing?
Apparently we're all flat now. I think it's an alien plot. They made us all flat so we couldn't eat! Or... something. The tinier flat people seem awfully upset about it, so it's bad somehow, I am sure.
Let me know what you want and I'll be sure it gets to you. It may take a bit, seems like something's going on in Moscow.
Where did you come from? Flat glass thing...oh, the tv? Not sure yet, but it looks like we'll be headed to Moscow soon.
((I really hope Lady Octopus gets a Support Class so that she can Ink people with smoke grenades.))
We're flat? But... we don't look flat. I don't think. Do humans see themselves as flat normally? Though, if it means we can't eat... noooooo~
Um, from, um, elsewhere! Yes.
Oh, tv? I mean, OF COURSE! I, I knew that! Because this is a human device, and as a human, I should know it!
Moscow, huh...? ... Moscow? What is...?
There is a freezer here, fill it with beer, rum and banana liqueur and I'll be fine and dandy for my whole stay. Also, who is this blue-haired person I just saw passing by the infirmary? She looks... agitated. Maybe she could use a drink too.
What are you saying, that not everyone relies on alcohol to be calm and happy? Nonsense. Utter nonsense.
"Excuse me?" Oh son, don't disrespect the girl with the rocket launcher. Nonononono...
"Oh sweetie, sit down and be good. I give up trying to explain things to you..." Facepalm.
"If you're a 'normal human' you're the odd one out here. There's nothing normal about this group. That's why they send us on the alien-fodder suicide missions.
Speaking of that, that's what's going on with humanity. Aliens gooping and doing god-knows-what to our populace. So that's bad."
Sort of an empty threat considering now I have a rocket launcher, too...
"You want a damn rocket fight?
I wil rocket fight you, pinky.
I know which one of us has the resilliance of a cockroach to nuclear warfare, too.
Do ya feel lucky?"
Why does everyone antagonize Toni? Have they not yet learned it's suffering for the whole base? She's insane.
Um remember who you're talking to? I don't know if you've ever seen the show Phineas and Ferb but sanity...well...
*Whelp, she thought she was doing well. thankfully, with this fight, this gives her time to bow the heck out. She's GOT to work on her blending in abilities better! Maybe she should observe what others are doing...*
"I don't give a platapus from a- Hey, where'd the octopus-lady go?"
21 April 2015
Most the base was glued on the livestream of various disasters being reported throughout the globe.
So uh...any volunteers?
Toni's given up explaining what she's seeing to the drunken copanion, but her arms are firmly planted around Grantaire, holding him close as a soothing teddybear as she watches the images in horror. All she can do is gape and shake her head.
"I'll go! For god's sake, send me with..."
I will join mlle. Antonia if my wounds are sufficiently healed. It is up to Grantaire if he wishes to come along.
Considering my current... attachment, I don't really think it is a choice. Just promise me, Toni, you'll stop hugging me long enough to shoot at something if we go. Good aim is scarce enough as it is.
... but we should probably save the flat.men. It's hard to even hold a bottle if you're flat. On the plus side, you become a lot harder to hit.
"What?" Toni lets go, looking a little taken aback. "I wasn't going to stay that way on the mission, I was just feeling a little insecure... When they showed the American feed, I recognize some of those places Grantaire. It's all so much more powerful than us, I don't udnerstand how we can win this..." She sighs and gets up to prepare herself for a mission, counting on the Commander to send her in.
I'll go, unless you really don't need a medic.
Abigail would go, but uh infirmary. So there is much sulking, instead, because she's not allowed to shoot things in the infirmary, and that there looks like some PRIME shooting stuff opportunity.
((Also, there's probably frogs with tiny windguns everywhere.))
Hehehehe... It's been a while since I've been out... I'm looking forward to this. Hihihi... ihihihihihihi...
/sits in a corner, clutching her medikit and giggling to herself
((Read: Is slightly regretting not going for a more combat-oriented build.))
I'm volunteering! I can go! I'll just...uh...stagger out of this bed, here, and...uh...
...maybe I'll just talk about sherbet flavors and how to defeat the Fiendish Truck Puzzle with Abigail, here.
((Feel free to send Logan if you need another assault.)) ((Knew I should have reloaded before posting. XD Good luck guys!))
If you want MOAR ROCKETS, and lets be honest, who doesn't think random rocket fire makes sense on a terror mission, then I'm in ;)
