May I join team red for now? The blue answers aren't as interesting as I was expecting.

That's because Blue is Reason. It's supposed to keep things tame. Only our Red Instinct will provide a sqicky answer. Though it is still too early in game for this to show too much... It starts making a much bigger difference later in the game or on specific choises.

This is somewhat how I'm actually voting. I'll vote red lest I know where the choise is going (since I can't remember much of the middle of the game). And DOG WHY ARE YOU CHEWING ON MY ELBOW!?!? (my puppy decides now is a good time to bother me).

Right now, I think the trend is, red leads to a weird, amusing, and slightly disturbing reaction, so I'm going with that.

It goes both ways. There is one particular choise that I really want to be Red. It's actually something NOT bad, but we have to actually get there for me to choose it. Unless we choose blue at the right times, we may never get that choise, which will be the only time I will choose blue, is to get to that point. I really want to see the scene after. It's one of my favorite scenes~<3

I've only had the chance to watch the series Higurashi no Naku Koro ni, but not this one. But it looks deliciously messed up as well, so now I need to start watching it. :D

I actually recommend the Sound Novel heaps more~ I honestly don't think Umineko will get a second season any time soon.

With those DVD sales? Pffft.

Yeah, the anime is a pretty horrible adaptation. Go check out the sound novels. You can find the details in our Umineko discussion thread here.

The sound novel of Umineko is way better than the anime - the anime was a bit meh, because it tried to explain things, but rushed it too much. And it kinda ended up being confusing/not making much sense, unless you'd actually read the sound novel.

Also, the BGM of the novel, omg~ /drools
Sorry, Umineko is a not-so secret love of mine. I can, and will, go on for hours about it. orz Though most of that is just me flailing over how badass Battler the characters are. ;u;

I am quite biased towards Beatrice myself~ The BGM is on my ipod and I just can't put into words how amazing some of those tracks are. I have cried listening to some of them. Beatrice is totally the best representative for the red side. Team blue can take Battler. No, I am not trying to convince you guys to go along with my idea, whatever would make you think something like that?

A couple of my friends are trying to push me into watching or reading Umineko. Considering that I have both guy friends and girl friends telling me to do so, Umineko should be good, right?

Ehem, but seriously, play the Sound Novel instead. The anime doesn't have a second season and all of the novels have been released. Play the first episode, and if you like it, I could probably give you a few links to websites where you can buy the rest of the series from.
