Let's Play Even More Pokemon! (Platinum)

So because of a mixture of Flonne's Pokemon Quartz LP, Eboby and Not Sure If Want's encouragement, and my own strange brain, I had a wonderful, awful idea. And thusly, I am LPing Pokemon Platinum.



Some details: I'm making up my own story as we go along, and this will not be a Nuzlocke run I am bad at Pokemon and everyone would die like two battles in if I did. I'm taking suggestions for the name of my rival (if someone wants to be them that's great too) and of course everyone and anyone can be a Pokemon, just tell me who you want. ♥ I'll leave this open for a little while before starting so people have a chance at the starter.

... can I be rival/love interest? If not can I be a Mismagius(or whatever they're called)?
EDIT: Actually screw that plan, I am going to be that Riolu we get from Riley~~~~~~~(Riiiiiiileeeeeeeeyyy squeeeeeee) and I will evolve into a Lucario. Because awesome. If we even end up getting that far into the game.

Piplup is the most adorable of the starters, so I vote for that~! And for a ridiculously cute name like Pippli Longstocking or something! <33 And the rival... ... ... "Baro" "Otome."
His parents were strange folks.

You shall name your rival Fakir if he is a male and Rue if she is a girl. You shall name your precious pychic pokemon Carol.

I'd volunteer if I weren't obviously a yandere, knew that two yanderes courting each other in this LP is more than BF can handle, and knew Becca wouldn't be a good one.

I would like thou to make me a Pokémon, videet. I never played Platinum, so make me whatever seems the most fitting.

Can I suggest Piplup? Everybody who LPs this game seems to use Turtwig. Could I be a Ralts?

The only Pokémon game I actually own and completely suck at!

Small note: like a bunch of other LPs now, I'm going to do this from the character's perspective. Only it'll probably be less funny and more disturbing, so warning for the MC being a yandere later on. Everything in italics from this point is the character's thoughts/actions.


Sigh... That wasn't as interesting as I hoped. Oh well.

Baro's been my best friend- and just my best friend- for as long as I can remember. That's okay though. He'll come around soon.
