Legit everything you said. I was just reading the bulbapedia page on Riley and it shows his little sprite from platinum being all badass and aura and then in the manga he's called like "Aura master Riley" or something and I was like squeeeeee. And I have this little story thing going on in my head where you know how Riley mentions how he likes to travel around and train with Lucario? Well then he ends up going to Cameron because he's in the area and hears about the competition and then enters and wins and then all this crazy paradox stuff happens and I regret absolutely nothing. The whole reason I ev even got this obsession was because my friend loved pokemon and that was her favorite movie and she showed it to me once and I was like "Sir Aaron huh.. you know pokemon's kind of awesome isn't it?" And I sort of forgot about it and vaguely noticed the similarity between Aaron and Riley but paid about as much attention to it as the vague similarities between Volkner and Minato. And then all of these pokemon lps made me revisit it all and then and then...

and then you understood and excuse me I have to go stare at some pictures and maybe watch some stuff for the next few hours.
