I did appreciate that Diamond/Pearl/Platinum gave you more interaction with the MCs parent than just "Oh you're leaving home? Come back and rest sometimes." or "Oh hey I spent some of your money." Even if it wasn't much more, it was at least enough to give Mom a past and something approaching a rounded character.

...I wonder why the only time you have a dad is Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald, where he's never home? Oh wait, Japan.

I'm pretty sure any interaction between MC and their parent besides "I spent your money! :D" is an improvement.

Her Haunter actually knocked Amaranthine out via Shadow Claw, so VaticanCam came out to bite the fucker to death. From full health. (She used a super potion right after this.) It was... Kind of hilarious. I like to imagine he bit the Haunter clean in half and now there's Haunter bits everywhere.

Yeah, same here. I don't really have the patience to grind high enough to keep things like that from happening. Also, critical hits, which I swear tend to favor the AI.

Vide is going to end up destroying every gym she goes to after finishing with it, isn't she? She missed Roark but that was before she started going full Yandere.

Dealing with naughty children is my bread and butter; after all, I am a Duskull. it's our duty to take children with massive attitude problems and drop them off in a special sub-dimension to 'punish' them. We get so much nutrition from the screams of such children...
But for me, the best part of my duty is when I bring the child back and what used to be a brat realizes that they are back to their wonderful, normal life and their just so happy- I live for when they hug their parents while crying. Call me soft-hearted, I don't mind, I like helping people change their lives. Such was a chance I hadn't gotten until it was too late.
So when a mass of ghastly told me of a girl who had walked away from a burning building rather help in any way to put it out, and worse, being followed by a water type of all things, well, I just couldn't help myself. I searched all over until I found a girl fitting her description, then carefully, carefully, I stretched out my powers to take her mind to the other-
