Dads always mess computers up and put the blame in their children. At least that happened to me a lot.

My father's always been handy with technology, but then he IS an engineer, so if he wasn't, we'd probably be pretty screwed.

Jeremy is younger than I am? Jesus Christ.

My father is a systems analyst, but he fails when it comes to virus matters. He can't seem to find a trustful site to download the stuff he needs, and always ends up shitting the computer.
Then he says it's me. Man, I've only infected my PC once in my life, with a virus my classmate sent me by messenger when I was 11 or something.

Yeah. the virus thing he gets around via some truly epic paranoia and distrust. It's done me some good, at least. To my knowledge I never had a virus in my life, but I fly into a panic every time I have unexplained lag, so I'm not sure the safety of my pc is safe for me.

I can tell when a site's reliable or not, but my dad can't. He may suspect completely reliable sites, and trust bad sites. I don't really get it.

Lucy: he couldn't say no to that.

And I bet it was because it had something to do with the vampire.

Lucy: He's really my parents' friends, not mine.

Luckily, there's only one small explosion. After that, the phone just spits sparks out of the antenna.

My mother would have killed me. I got into enough trouble as a teenager for doing that thing where you shrink potato chip bags.

For most of my teen years we didn't HAVE a microwave. Once we bought one I was terrified of using it in case it broke so I bothered my mother for minute instructions all the time.

We didn't have one, either, technically; it was my grandmother's (we were living in her house). Which just meant 2x the trouble if something went wrong with it.

I never had a microwave at home. I must use the stove for everything, and it's kinda frustrating when it takes much longer than in the microwave to do some stuff, but I never really missed a microwave.

They're like cellphones. Once you get one, you can't live without it. If you have none, you get on fine without.

Oh wow, we finally literally burned the phone. How long have you guys been cheering for that? This is a day to remember~

The phone's shape is mostly intact, but the top and the antenna have melted, the screen has turned into an abstract painting, and there's a lumpy bulge on the back.

There's no way this is made up. Too much details for that. The creator must have somehow researched it.
In the end of my 1st high school year, I went to my friend's house and we collected all the year's sheets of paper we had. Then we put them into the laundry area's sink.
Then we set them on fire.

Nah, it wasn't that much, I'm just exaggerating in my inexperience with hurricanes hahaha! But it was an utterly strong blast of wind that lasted some hours, fucked the energy up and threw trees and stuff to the ground. And pulled some roof tiles out of the neighbor's house. But it wasn't much destructive than that.
It was nothing compared with a true hurricane from what I hear about them, but it was surely the strongest wind I ever witnessed in my city.

It's a black and white romance set during World War II.

I like movies about World War II.

By the end of the film, Lucy and I are both sniffling.
