Really really really hopes the reason Koichi doesn't immediately start apologizing is not because that's his sister.
I've watched a movie where a plucky country girl moves to the big city to become a dancer and after some luck ends up having dinner with a super cute Eurasian-looking talent scout for this big entertainment corporation and that's how she became a janitor after some mishaps the president of the corporation takes interest in her and promotes her to a bright new star and also they start dating and meanwhile she also learns that the talent scout also likes to dance in his free time but one day she overhears president on the phone saying "oh yeah, she's from the countryside, isn't that great publicity" and follows him to the airport where she sees him embracing another woman so she runs away but after a long mental mental battle she realizes that she can't give up her dream of dancing so comes back just in time for the big contest and wins.
And at the end, it turns out the woman was his sister and the president really was completely in love with her this entire time.
And Eurasian guy was never mentioned again.
