Normally I'd say that's the kind of conversation you really need to have in person, but Koichi has already proven that he won't stay put long enough to have any in-person conversations at all, so... yeah.

Either way, ignoring the call is only delaying the inevitable, but I sympathize with how compelling the urge to do just that can be.

I'm trying really hard to be sympathetic but having dealt with the drama caused by this sort of thing in real life for three plus years, I'm just sitting here going 'GODDAMNIT LYSA JUST PICK UP THE DAMN PHONE AND GET A DIVORCE.'

I can relate. Nothing hurts more than seeing somebody you care about continue to delay the inevitable and hurt themselves in the process.

And everyone around them, by the process of making themselves so angry and bitter that it's all they care about, even over their friends and family, so they start driving everyone away which only makes it worse-

And I'm shutting up now because I just have a lot of feelings about this.

What hurts me more is that she will call me and cry for hours about it and then when I so much as suggest that this isn't working and that she deserves better I get ignored.

I think those are actually just his casual (non-business-suit) clothes. Like, an Oxford shirt and jeans or something.

As cute as the idea of him sitting in a cafe in his PJs would be.

I would be willing to do this with a bunch of friends one day just because this sounds hilarious. Everyone going to a café in PJs and just hanging out like nothing's unusual.

You can do that here and quite a few people do. By here, I mean the portion of the city that I live in. You might get 2-3 ish strange looks at most.
