To me, Jack Frost looks like "generic 'bishie'/male with feminine characteristics that is another male lead that is a little bit snarky". He's nothing special.

-shrug- very true. I don't usually mind something that's been run into the ground, just so long as it's not ruined in some way. Kind of like listening to the same song a lot because you like it. Naturally if something comes along that reinvents the concept in some awesome, different way then I'll probably like it even better. But if something's decent and done right I don't mind so much if I've seen it before.

I would just like to point out that doing something awesome and different isn't as easy as it sounds, because a great deal of awesome and different things were done in the past and we now consider them to be the same old, same old. But it does happen. I agree, though---I don't mind when characters or plots are similar to others, I think I care more if they're done WELL.

I had a teacher that would complain that there was no plot to Finding Nemo and that people shouldn't like it because of that. Well, he was right, in a way, there isn't much of a plot---but the movie is entertaining as all heck, and that's why so many people like it.

Dreamworks doesn't have Pixar's stellar reputation when it comes to animated movies, unfortunately, so I'm taking a bit of a "wait until it comes out" attitude. :D

I kind of want to see it, but I hate to go to the movies alone. I might be able to talk my mother into going, but as far as she's concerned, Sean Connery will forever be the only James Bond.

Mm, my parents don't like the recent Bond. The real star of the show was the villain though. Almost every other character paled after a certain scene. I cannot get over the villain. You know that saying about how an audience loves a well-executed villain more than the hero? This, so much. So suave and sad and loyal and I'll stop now.

I usually just end up renting everything. But then again, it's hard to talk about a movie you haven't seen but everyone else has. :D

I'd also like to point out that besides never consummating their marriage, they apparently don't even sleep in the same room. They don't even have the Ozzie and Harriet seperated beds - she's sleeps in the bedroom, and he has a bed/futon set up in his study. Arranged marriage or not, they're total strangers to each other. And that's kinda sad, for both of them.

I thought he was sleeping in his study so he didn't risk to wake up her when he went home late - and to be woken up by her in the morning - he even put a sign outiside the study. Not sure about where he slept before, however, having a futon in his study would make sense if he was a good husband decent human being who sometimes slept in his study because he had to work a lot and he didn't want to wake up her when going to sleep (or if he had a habit to wake up at night and starting to work again because he dreamed of a solution to his work problem, it happens sometimes).

An earlier update, she talked about going to her bed in her bedroom, not the/their, which made me start thinking they had seperate rooms. The fact she went straight to the study to check if he was up confirmed it in my mind. I just don't get the impression that they share a bed. Maybe I'm wrong, but it's likely that I'm not. The game seems to like pounding into your skull how soul-crushingly awful their relationship is. The "fake" marriages in My Forged Wedding had more heart in them, even in the first chapters when they really were strangers living in the same house.

And now I'm depressed. But I think I have a mini-Ben & Jerry ice cream in the freezer. That'll help.

Now I'm getting really curious about Koichi's route... If only to see the explanation(s) behind his behaviour. Also, it's a little disappointing that she still hasn't confronted him (and she's so polite and meek and thoughtful it's killing me). Come on, protag-chan, it's time to face the music.

I think protag-chan is in denial. She doesn't seem the type to face the problems they have with their "marriage" unless she has someone push her to do it. I'm very concerned about his route but I still want to see it for

I really want to play this game but it's pushing all of my buttons. :( I'm at at about chapter 5, I think in Ebi-chan's route. I've decided to enjoy this LP and see how it goes.

I thought, from what the introduction said, that after they were married he was sent overseas for three months. I don't know how soon that happened after they were married, but my feeling is just that he left right after the ceremony. That would make her thinking that it's "her bed" a bit more reasonable, as he's never slept in it, but the fact that he sleeps in a different room (methinks to avoid her) is just mean. I get the feeling that she didn't know he would do that.

I think it might take more than one tequila.

I'm playing Ebi-chan's route and, wow. I'm torn between just going "GET OUT, KOICHI" and wanting to play his route to find out what kind of insane moon logic they're going to claim is behind his behavior.

Whenever my friend has that show on I just end up staring at that guy's hairstyle and thinking I should introduce him to a barber.

His hair is the least of his problems.

That look and that phrase reminds me of Dangan Ronpa.

I find it strangely hypnotic, to the point where I have no idea what the show is about. I suppose if I actually had a TV I might be tempted to watch it and find out, just so I could throw small stuffed animals at the screen.

Giorgio is hilarious. I only watch ancient aliens for his amazing hair and his "explanations".
