Now back to some Ebi-chan LOVIN'

Turns out, while Lysa and her coworkers were talking about Ebi-chan, he decided to materialize right behind them as bosses do.

Ebi-chan says he is going to drink with the owner and leaves Lysa and her coworkers to party on their own.

Later that night, Lysa is waiting up for Koichi. He seems surprised that she was still up, and agrees to dinner with her parents the next day. Lysa gets up the nerve to try and talk about the future but Koichi asks if it has to be right then.Since he's tired Lysa thinks that it can wait so she lets the matter go again....

The next day, Lysa gets to work with Ebi-chan❤!
They go to the preschool together to talk to the client, and Lysa starts noticing little things about Ebi-chan. For one thing, she mentions how surprised she is that he doesn't mind walking when a taxi is faster.



Lysa realizes just how much she can learn from him, and feels even more respect for Ebi-chan. They get to the school and notice that there are tons of kids playing outside...
and the kids try to play with Ebi-chan ❤❤❤



Can we play tag too Ebi-chan??? Or maybe wrestle.....
So much cuteness I could squee!!!!!

Lysa saves Ebi-chan from the clutches hands of the small children and fixes his hair (so soft!), prompting him to thank her. >.<

The two of them speak to the director of the preschool, who tells them that they want a classroom that the kids can play in without getting hurt. The tables in the classroom are light enough for the teachers to pick up easily, but that means they will fall apart within a few years, and sturdier tables could be dangerous if the children run into them.

Ebi-chan notices another problem, the wall hooks for coats and backpacks. They are too low and might be dangerous, so he says that he will remove them quickly for the director. Lysa offers to help, but cuts her finger as otome protagonists must...seriously this plot development is a little old

After they finish at the preschool, Ebi-chan tells Lysa that she doesn't need to go back to the office and sends her home. Lysa stops at the grocery store on the way to pick up dinner, but realizes that she has to turn in her concept for the book cafe the next day. She decides to run back to the office for a minute with her groceries...

And Ebi-chan is still working!

Lysa quickly finishes her concept, Alice in Wonderland, for Ebi-chan. The idea is that it will make the cafe interesting and unique, with a small cinema corner and Alice in Wonderland designs.



Aww come on Ebi-chan, you know you love it (◕‿◕)

Obviously, the best course of action for to protag-chan to take in this situation is to yell "THE ONLY THING I'M QUITTING IS YOU!", flip the table, and run off into the arms of Ebihara.

I don't think I've ever seen an intervention to stop someone from being a responsible adult before. Japan is teaching me so many wondrous things.

Yeah, it is cliche, but as far as my experience goes, it's also true. Dogs and kids usually know who the good people are. :D Besides, the CG is adorable!

Unfortunately, she's married to Lysa's dad. Which means that she will either agree with him or is a doormat that does whatever he says at this point. I guess what I should say is I would be surprised if she stood up to him when her daughter was clearly raised in such a way to discourage that kind of thing.

Lysa's mom looks pretty damn miserable in that one screen-shot she's in, so I'll have to agree with this.

Yeah, also agreed. My impression is that it's very much a "Dad's word is law" kind of family.

I agree about that, I just hope she will have something to say to Lysa or to her dad at some point - not in a big way necessarily, just something. Because probably this is the drama moment and I think that there will be some kind of "make up with your father" moment, so her mother should play a bigger role.
But I may be optimistic.

Why is this so funny to me? Cute too, but mostly hilarious due to how uncomfortable he looks coupled with the oblivious joy of the kid. I think... I may be a sadist.

The game doesn't really go into the dinner scene much after the a$$hole father voices his opinion on Lysa's job, but I assume it was pretty awkward after that.

Koichi is going golfing with a client and turns down Lysa's offer of breakfast.

She pays and finds Aoi choosing baby clothes. Aoi asks Lysa if she and Koichi are trying for a baby yet.




I'm sure he wants one Lysa but unfortunately he is already busy using that part of his anatomy.

The women finish shopping and stop for lunch. As they are making toasts to friendship and love, Akiko throws in a toast that she will meet her other half.


Lysa says she'd like to believe in that, but.....

Aoi starts talking about her children and husband, and the girls remark that he must be a wonderful man.

I'm starting to understand Lysa's situation more and more as this goes on. It's making me want to reach through the screen and hug her!

ME TOO. I've played enough of these phone app otome games that I was expecting a story I would not be able to take very seriously, but there's a lot of legitimate drama in this situation and it pretty much sucks for her. :(

Good idea, Lysa! Then you won't feel bad if Koichi doesn't eat. She ends up buying cured ham, bread, cheese, and wine.

Sure enough, she has just bought everything and is walking home when Koichi emails her.



Koichi: "I'll be late getting back tonight, so I won't be needing dinner."
Lysa is a little upset but not too much so, until she notices Koichi's car a few feet away from the shopping center.
She starts to walk over to talk to him when...



He then links arms with her and walks into a restaurant. (Don't worry Lysa, you're hotter and she looks like a B*tch)
Lysa is stunned. She picks up her bags and walks away, questioning what she is to Koichi.
Lysa: "I guess Koichi isn't my other half." Of course not Lysa! You're too cool for him!


Lysa doesn't cry this time, instead she goes to the office to do some work. The office is empty, but it's better than being home alone.



I'm working on not crying, what are you doing here Ebi-chan?
Ebi-chan: " I came to look at some catalogues for the chairs and desks at the preschool."
Lysa decides to help him instead of going home. The two of them are looking at the prices of tables and chairs shaped like cute beetles when Mr. Ebihara's stomach growls really loudly.
Lysa suppresses a laugh and tells him that she had bought dinner before she found out that her husband was coming home late.




Ebi-chan eventually gives in to the wonderful charm of Lysa and agrees!
Lysa gets some plates and silverware from the employee break room and the two eat together, chatting about cooking and such.


Lysa thinks about how different it is from eating at home alone while Koichi goes out all the time.

Suddenly, Ebi-chan changes the subject.

What should Lysa say?

(Also, as someone who is against Lysa staying with Koichi and hates whishy-washy protagonists I'm voting C)

What the fuck. I'm seriously hating Lysa's situation more and more as time goes on. And because of recent drama that I won't go into detail over I HATE KOICHI WHAT THE HELL. I'm not sure if science is worth his route anymore.

During Thanksgiving Break next week I will get absolutely smashed/wasted/drunk and do his route in Japanese. Spoiler coming soon on whether he is worth it or not!

Also I note that, with this, Ebi-chan is thus far the only person who's really in Lysa's corner with regards to getting out of this situation. (Admittedly her ladyfriends probably would be if they knew how bad Koichi is, but they certainly make things more difficult on her in their ignorance.)

I've really wanted to ask this ever since I started reading this thread. Can we get the husband to become infatuated with us and tell us he's deeply sorry for the unforgivable act of cheating on Lysa and that he's unworthy of her and he wants her back? Then he throws himself in front of our feet to beg for forgiveness.

And then we could have Lysa stomp on his hand with her stilettos and going "No." ಠ_ಠ

She'll then go off with Ebi-chan and they can have happy kya fu-fu time right in front of Stupid Asshole Ex-Husband.

But I don't think this'll happen if we pick A, so C!

Is it weird that I actually do that sometimes when otome games give me heart pangs or love interests say something so heartbreaking/romantic?
