In all fairness, it's one hell of a faux paus to answer your illicit lover's phone.

As maniskumquat pointed out, Koichi may not have told his lover that he's married---it isn't all that uncommon for a man to keep both his mistress and his wife in the dark about each other. She may have answered it in all innocence, thinking that she was just helping him out. And then, she gets yelled at and doesn't even know what she did wrong.

Koichi is looking more like an irredeemable jerk every minute. I hope on his route he gets better, because he's not winning any points with anyone right now.

I feel like Koichi's route would end up being basically more of him being the same and Lysa being like "OH I HAVE TO TRY HARDER TO HAVE HIM LOVE ME" and he only notices once she like faints while cooking this supreme dinner and he's all carrying her to the bedroom like "you gotta rest i'll cook today" and she's like "oh koichi".

From what I hear, Koichi's route is one of the best and he .... somehow redeems himself .... the story with his mistress is ...... interesting to say the least, but kind of weird imo.

I also think he's not as much of a dick in Kiyoto's route. All this stuff that happens in Ebi-chan's route didn't happen in Kiyoto's
