I swear I had completely forgotten he was supposed to be the teacher's route. Mostly because I had plenty of friends like him when I was a teenager (well, considerably less pretty, but I mean the 'flirting through insults' part) and none of them teachers. In fact he reminds me of one of my best friends from high school, including the 'on again, off again' girlfriend that kept on trying to involve me in their stuff. Aaaah, youth.

But yes, the way they keep on dragging plots on and on even when it's pretty clear where it's going can be a bit annoying...then again, if they didn't the game would last like, five minutes.

Apparently giving me sugar cookies and icing leads to Nordic cookies. (Iceland and Norway were already all eaten, and Denmark just came out really badly, the red icing kept bleeding into the white and turning it pink so they aren't pictured.)

I find cooling the icing a little after I've added the food coloring can help prevent any bleeding. And yay Nordic cookies!

Yeah, I tried that, it just refused to cooperate. The Sweden and Finland cookies came out very well however. And are delicious.

Most curious, that always works for me. Sugar cookies are always delicious and how easy they are to find in the store right now is the sole reason I love the holiday season. Along with earthquake cookies. And gingerbread cookies. And this delicious treat called a 'stained glass window'. And the oatmeal cookies my aunt always makes. And home made cordial cherries. And... I really like Christmas sweets, guys.

I'm glad we can be entertaining! That is the whole purpose of running one of these LPs.

I wouldn't suggest going and buying any lottery tickets. I was already sold so I'm not a good sample. But it is a very accurate pitch? I would use that to try and sell other people on it. Then again I have made more people I know/interns of mine question my sanity than I have convinced to give Hatoful a try (I have convinced noone sadly) so maybe I'm a terrible judge of sales pitches.

Unfortunately, I knew him from Gintama first, so when I saw/heard Wakatsuki-sensei, all I could think of was "Ginpachi-sensei!!!" All the smoking was therefore acceptable because he smokes lollipops, not cigarettes. Drinking was forgivable because he saves Edo's metaphorical ass by cutting down gundams and aliens. And he was willing to become King of the Santas for the sake of children all over the world.

Man, imagine trying to hook up with Gintoki in one of these games...he'd be so disinterested it'll blow our minds...: D A whole new level of "I'm just not that into you" right here in 2D. I'd go for Takasugi Shinsuke/Katsura/Hijikata/Sougo....damn, why no Gintama otome game? That Shinpachi-dating sim arc was awesome...maybe the protag could be Tsundere Pinko?

Cake? Cookies? Muffins?

I like to make cheesecakes (strawberry flavoured) and chocolate sponge cake. I tried experimenting with brownies and they turned out to be either rock hard or very cakey. Nothing on the internet has shown me the way to make true fudge-like brownies (still w/ a bit of flour) without shortening.

I was thinking cookies, the kind with almond and cinnamon sugar topping. It nearly 'tis the season after all.

They're my absolute favourite (though the name is nothing short of terrible, they used to be made in star shape, so the name translates into Jew-cake, which... yes). We have gingerbread cookies right now, but we usually make just about any seasonal cookie we can think of except the one that needs to be boiling whilst being made.

Guys guys. I have exciting news. I came up with the idea of introducing my 10 year old brother to pokemon via the magic of emulator. So he'll learn English (he lives in China). I FEEL SO ACCOMPLISHED RIGHT NOW.

I was trying to think of books. I only got "I want my hat back" and maybe The Little Prince that he could read. Harry Potter and Deltora Quest is probably too hard. I told my mum to just make him watch the hp and narnia movies and introduce books later. and then I was trying to come up with games, and everything has too much wordsssss, layton might be awesome but too hard.

SO POKEMON.

In general video games are actually pretty good for picking up practical applications of language with the added benefit of images of what is going on. I learned more words than just 'brothel' from Arcanum, like 'fatigue' and 'worship' and 'poppycock'.

I know a website where you can find a lot of English literature for free.
