A note about this line. I haven't been really showing the choices I've been making as Hitomi, just documenting the story. Ryutaro requests that Hitomi "Be Obedient" several times throughout the game, but if you want to get Ryutaro's "Happy Love" ending you actually must go against his wishes more than once. For instance you make him put out his cigarette at the beginning of the game, you tell him not to drink liquor on the beach, and he specifically asks you NOT to deliver the package the day that Hitomi gets lost on the broken bicycle. Ryu-Sensei may SEEM like he wants an obedient Hitomi but that is actually not the case. He wants an independent, headstrong, sometimes difficult Hitomi to challenge him and keep him on his toes. If you do whatever he says you end up getting the friendship ending, but he doesn't fall in love with you.
