I don't think it's been determined, but I'm strongly in favor of Yamato or Takao.

I played Ren's route, and it... wasn't very good, sadly.

My favorite is probably Kuni, followed by Takao and Yuta. I really like all the guys though. Ren himself is good, it's just that his plot twist is a bit...out there.

I like all of the guys, really. If I had to say which route was the weakest, I would say

Videetcredere's favorite, Mr. Disney (I just realized Saeki never got a nickname. Huh. Didn't realize y'all liked the name Saeki so much. The TMGS2 threads made me think otherwise), pipes up saying that they all work in different fields, but all live in the same area, and Mr. Flynn Impostor mentions that they still play baseball sometimes.

The routes each cost $3.99, and Voltage wants to make damn well sure that you know what you're paying for. Which is good, in a way. But it takes forever, as you will soon see. I will make you all suffer with me.

Yeah these descriptions are less than accurate. (Except for Takao's. That was accurate and yes please.)

Yamato isn't even all that tsun, really; it's mostly a lot teasing and banter with him that I recall.

Yup! It really doesn't paint Yamato in a very good light~ which is sad, in my opinion. I love banter, and teasing coming from both parties.

I have to say, one of my favorite parts of this game was the jealousy don't hurt me.

No matter which route you play at least one if not all (Hat's route especially) had the other guys falling for protag-chan. Usually this just makes me feel confused and mildly amused but this game actually did pretty well because it forced the guy you were helping to man up and admit his feelings ❤

Lastly, Mr. Bedroom Eyes/Yuta.









That's the sign of a good comic.





Yuta, you're making it impossible for me to not take everything you say as an innuendo.





Mr. Hat does not ship it. NOTP. (I'm pretty sure they put this in because when they first released this, Yuta's route and his route had yet to be released. I'm probably wrong. But that's my story and I'm sticking to it.)

EDIT: Okay, so someone reminded me that the reason Kuni says this is actually 'cuz you fulfill Yuta's favor 3 months later in the game. This isn't really a spoiler, so I'm not gonna spoiler it. Nothing really happens in the game between this day and 3 months later, is why. It's kinda just like ~*TIME SKIP*~ "oh hey, about that favor..."

I like how aside from Ren's, everyone else's tagline is either something not particularly endearing or just plain derpy. "Nasty"? "Sadistic"? "Awkward"? "Easily jealous"? When did we stumble into Diabolik Lovers?

And then we have "I love baseball! Do you really want to marry your uncle?"

What I really like about the ensemble is the INCESSANT PEANUT GALLERY COMMENTARY. XD No matter whose route it is, the other guys are always around with something to say. They give Takao SUCH a hard time and it's great.

I guess "I love baseball" could be "I love to terrify/torture young girls".
and "Do you really want to marry your uncle?" could be "Do you really want to get nommed on while your ears get raped?"
Then it really will be Diabolik Lovers!

I have already played all the routes (yes, I have a weak will and spent all the iTunes money I got for christmas on pirates, princes, thieves and other pixel guys .. and I regret nothing) so I don't really mind what guy we are going after .. the routes are all good in their own kind of way, I guess? I didn't really like Saekis or Kunis route but that's just my humble opinion ;)

Still voted for Yamato and Takao though. They are my favorites :D
