Daichi just sprang into action to protect Lysa because there was a suspicious rustling in the bushes!



It's probably just a bunny or mouse or something, but it really freaks Midori out.



Lysa is about to hit the ground when someone (*cough* Daichi) cushions her fall.
Of course he lands on her in the process, but at least a head injury was prevented.





Oh goodie!



Well, yeah. There's a very large heehee man on top of them.
Of course, being so loving, Lysa notices Daichi's injuries before her own.





He would fail so badly as a love interest if he cared about something that silly.
Daichi notices that Lysa's leg is hurt and immediately goes into mother bird mode, asking what happened.

Lysa: "I bumped into that rock there."

She brushes it off as no big deal and goes back to fussing over Daichi but he's not having it.



Huh...
I'd think that would have caused more than a sprain...

Lysa and Daichi finally remember that Midori hasn't said a word this whole time. As it turns out, she fell and knocked herself out which is why everybody needs their own smexy bodyguard to protect them.
Kosugi tries to wake Midori up, to no avail.

Kosugi: "I guess I have no choice."



SO JEALOUS RIGHT NOW!

...I suppose it would be uncharitable of me to point out that basically the only way CPR could possibly be of use in this situation is if Kosugi thinks Midori is faking it in the hopes of getting Daichi to fuss over her, wouldn't it.

And as for the CPR, these games get pretty silly, don't they? I wouldn't be surprised if they pass this off as legit.

Well if she's faking it, Midori, like most of Japan, has forgotten that CPR involves being hit in the torso repeatedly.

As much as I love Kosugi, adding cracked or just bruised ribs to a head injury is not helping. If Midori fell down so hard that her heart and breathing stopped, well... this turned really dark. Oh, and CPR also tends to make people puke in addition to the injured torso. Not sexy at all.

My early years as an anime freak teached me that in Japan CPR just means "kissing", so yeah... Let's not overthink it !

It's not just Japan; fiction in general rarely depicts the use of CPR accurately. But usually even in anime they stick to using it on people who aren't breathing.

If Midori managed to fall and konk herself out that badly, then they've got bigger problems and, like groundedsidhe said, things just took a turn for the uncharacteristically dark.

Mostly because Daichi is perf and I'm almost done with his route!

I feel bad that they didn't realise that Midori'd been knocked unconscious.. Poor woman, it's bad enough that her parents named her after a brand of melon liqueur.

Midori's actually not an uncommon Japanese name. It means green and the liqueur connection is only a coincidence.

So let's just skip right to fussing over Lysa!

Midori: "I'm so sorry Lysa. It's all my fault."

The male members of the club all start to comfort Midori, but she only has eyes for Kosugi.
The game doesn't say this but I like to believe it's true because Kosugi.

Kosugi (of course) pulls everyone back to the matter at hand.



And apparently a storm is on it's way too.



There's only one problem, Lysa can't walk.
But I'm sure Daichi has a plan!


I think....

Lysa: "What are you going to do with that?"

Daichi: "Use it as a bandage."

Daichi: "In my line of work, injuries are commonplace."

Daichi: "It's sort of a drastic measure, but there is a way to numb the pain. Do you want to try it?"

Lysa: "Sure."
I can't see how this could end badly.

Daichi presses a pressure point on Lysa's leg.

Lysa cries out, but then the pain disappears immediately.


Daichi...
He heals.

Daichi: "Well let's get to the bottom of this mountain before the sun does."





Yes! and then Lysa jumps his bones

Lysa: "Oh, I'm okay. You really hit the spot, so I don't feel a lot of pain right now."

Daichi: "It's okay, come on."



Lysa: "...Sorry to be such a burden on you."





Aww, manly Daichi is manly.

Not to ruin the mood, but Lysa's hair and eyelessness make her look like a wandering hitchhiker ghost who will cling to Daichi and work him to death and eat his soul when she's finished.
Not that I'm complaining :D

Lysa... I find your lack of face disturbing.

Serioulsy, you look like an eyeless Sadako trying to strangle poor sweet Daichi.

Voltage doesn't even have to pay me. I would gladly draw some eyes on that poor girl.

I'm taking this as a "Let's see who can give Lysa the best face" contest

You know, I just woke up and was kinda feeling down, so I checked here, to see if there are any updates that could lighten my mood .. and then I see THIS.

First of all MidorixKosugi OTP - hell yes. Then I was a little disappointed because I really was expecting Daichi to carry Lysa down the mountain and when she started walking on her own after he worked his magic fingers on her (ehehehehe) I had a sad face .. but as this route never disappoints the sad face turned into a grin when he started giving her a piggyback ride :D And yay CG! Boo for faceless Lysa (but you guys took care of that I see) but Daichi looks adorkably handsome as always ;)

And all these Faces are killing meeeee - I am laughing so hard right now ..

Speaking of - I said it before and I will say it again .. how is it possible that this route becomes more perfect with each updated? I'm afraid of how this is going to go on because if it continues getting more and more sweet perfection like this my heart will have imploded or exploded or something before we reach the end of the route.

I have bought it but I was trapped in hell had some lectures at university until now and couldn't play it! It was torture .. Riki was waiting for me but I couldn't play because as much as it would have helped me through the long and boring lectures I tend to break out in giggles or swoon loudly and so on during playing so .. I didn't want to let everyone think I am crazy more crazy than they already think I am!

But I will now play the shit out of his route .. he's gonna be all mine soon enough. *evil laugh*

LOL. Thank you, I always found those kind of eyes creepy, considering it covers half of the character's face. Like aliens'.

I can't provide much commentary for this update because, for me, loud raucous laughter makes it difficult to type.

It's been gradually getting darker as Daichi and Lysa make their way down the mountain.
