Even if they don't find a shack, I am sure that our manly man Daichi will build one with his own, abre hands just for Lysa.

But I just love how in these games they always find some kind of cave or cabin or anything whenever it starts raining/snowing/etc. If I were to go on a hike or something and it would start raining I bet there wouldn't be a shack in a twenty mile radius .. there would only be a muddy slope where I would slip and fall down. And there would be no Daichi to help me up or carry me on his back .. siiiigh.

Oh yeah .. I'm also betting they will find some kind of shack .. maybe they will be drenched by the time they get there and have get out of those clothes and snuggle up so they won't get cold?! Hehehe, a girl can dream, right?! ;)

Well, I guess it's a cave this time! I wish that some gaming company would finally break the mold and have them get stuck in a tree house or something.



That doesn't look like a cave...
It looks more like the inside of a vortex or the mouth of a large beast of some kind.

Right as Lysa tries to tell Daichi that she's fine, lightning flashes across the sky. Lysa turns pale and begins to tremble against Daichi.



I actually love thunder, so sorry Lysa I don't quite understand.

Lysa looks like she is about to cry as the lightning strikes even closer to the mouth of the cave.

Daichi: "That one was a little scary, wasn't it?"



Lysa: "Scream?"


Daichi: "Yes, if we do that, it won't be scary."

Lysa is understandably a little skeptical of this concept.

Daichi: "You don't believe me do you?"

Lysa smiles shakily and agrees to try it. So when the next flash of lightning lights the sky, the two of them scream together.


Daichi: Master of the Storm

Daichi: "What was that?"

Why are so many protagonists afraid of thunder? Even the unshakable Haruhi (OHSHC) was scared of it! Thunder and lightning are really cool and I don't get to see it enough.

Total agreement here! Growing up in north western Ohio, we got thunderstorms frequently, especially in the summer. My mom would take me and my little sis onto the porch to watch the storms and I've always loved doing that. So, finding someone who's afraid of it confuses me beyond reason. It's understandable for small childeren who can get startled by loud noises or for people who have bad memories associated with them, but irrational fear in someone older just... I don't know and it makes me want to drag them to a portch and make the watch one. This is terrible idea do NOT do it. I'm appearently so comfotable with them, I slept through the 20 foot tree 10 yard from my back door imploding after it was struck my lightning. It woke everyone but me.

I'm actually... not really fond of thunder anymore.
I used to be, but last summer we had a lot of them. I was home alone during one and it just got so close that the windows were shaking from every lightning strike and all I could do was try to unplug everything and wait for it to pass through and for ANYONE to come home. So now they make me uneasy.
My grandma was apparently like you in that she'd sit on the porch and watch the thunder though! I can understand why, they must be really pretty when they're not right outside your window.

Voltage recycles background art a lot. I can't think of specific examples off the top of my head but I'm pretty sure I've seen backgrounds in common between In Your Arms Tonight, Seduced in the Sleepless City, My Forged Wedding, and Love Letter From Thief X.

It's actually pretty clever! It really could be "the same park" with the way the scenes work.
Although, Glenn's was a bit of a stretch. It was in Oriens Kingdom which is clearly Japan but still...

I like to think Lysa isn't actually scared of thunder, but is using the situation to her advantage with her beloved Daichi~

So Daichi just asked Lysa why she screamed out his name. Hopefully, Lysa thinks of a clever reply. Otherwise, this could get quite awkward.
