I liked Otomen at first but then it got really really overboard with the cute stuff, to the point that it became kind of kitschy :/ They are an adorable couple though. Also, they made a live action drama of it!

The player character of Fate/stay night is a straight teenaged male, so in that sense no (although the second of the three routes periodically passes viewpoint character duties to a female character, and Archer and his connections to both her and the actual main character are the main focus of that route, so in that sense kind of? In a way). In Fate/Extra you can play as either gender with Archer as your Servant, although any romance is implied rather than overt. (Implied, admittedly, in ways that are pretty much as good as an outright love confession if you're familiar with his characterization from the original VN. You can't get him to cook for you, though, to my sorrow. You can only troll him hilariously.)

In this case it's a side effect of the fact that FSN and its spinoffs are almost universally about people who are too busy being messed up and broken to actually succeed at having functioning relationships that don't end with one or both parties dying.
