Unless ten year olds are normally much more unruly than I remember them being... I'd think that suddenly having your mother talking straight into your ear might be enough to get you to do what she tells you. Especially if you're nervous and have just been put on the spot.

Alternatively, Prism may end up going mad because Broken Forum is whispering commands into her ears over and over in order to get her to do things.

More specifically, telling her to romance things people.

I think we're just whispering advice to her through our magical headset hairpin. Like some sort of parental teleprompter. I don't actually know yet if in this game our daughter is so amazingly biddable that she always does what we say, either.

(I kinda hope not. Half the fun of Princess Maker playthroughs, at least for reading them, is when the little girl goes NOOOO DADDY YOU'RE NOT THE BOSS OF ME and runs off to flirt with a dragon or whatever.)

Sooo many memories of playing PM2, and having my daughter run away for a month at a time, wasting valuable hours in which I could have been exploiting her for salaries.

Can't imagine why she ran away, really.

: Here at Shirasagi Academy, classes from elementary up to college are all taught at the same campus. Because of that, there's a lot of traffic between the schools, and sempai who have already graduated come by sometimes. The spirit of the school is relatively liberal, with their selling point being "A balanced education of mind and body and of individuality and knowledge". It's sometimes called the "Young Ladies' and Lords' Academy" since a lot of the kids here come from prestigious families. But my family just runs a clothing store, so it's pretty tough. They rarely fail anyone, so that's a bit of a relief. Well, studying is easy, but it's hard to find a reason to bother.

Emiri: First is Asakura Kenichi. Kenichi's our class rep and really smart. He's in the math club. He's kind, helpful, and studies a lot. Basically, he's what you might call a "good kid".

: Or, as I would call him, "the perfect boyfriend". Or, "the perfect husband".
: Mistress, isn't it too early to being thinking about things like that...
:Yeah, you're right. We don't even know how rich he is!

Emiri: Next is Kobayakawa Michiru. That girl is always full of energy. She's in the track club. She appears to be nice, but she's always quick to get into fights and can be pretty nosy sometimes. She's also Asakura's childhood friend.


Emiri: Then there's Sakikabara Hiroko. Hiroko's a quiet and mature girl with a great love for music. She's in the music club. She takes being friends very seriously, but she's a bit too clingy for me. They say her mother is a piano teacher.


Emiri: Next is Kuroda Hitoshi. He's the quiet juvenile boss. I don't think he's in a club. Rumor is that he gets into a lot of fights and all the neighborhood kids are afraid of him. He won't comment on it himself though, so I don't know how it really is.

: I bet he's like Kanji from Persona 4, pretending to be all manly and stuff but secretly likes playing with Barbies. Speaking of P4, I should really replay that game on my Prism's new Playstation 5.
: I'm sure there'll be more students once we get into junior high and people start transferring in.
: There's only five kids, including Prism, in this class? No wonder they accepted a student with no records from birth and a mom that has a job like "Ninja Doctor" so easily.

: Our school has a variety of events, but they're usually no different from other schools' events. There is one different thing, though. You're only tested at the end of every semester from elementary school up to high school. There are no midterm tests. Overall, there aren't many tests, which is fine with me. Other than that, everyone goes camping together on Golden Week every year. We also have a field trip then. There's also an athletic meet and a school festival during autumn, and elections in winter, so make sure to keep checking the calendar.

Yay, the new friends have been introduced. Kinda. :D

I say... try to befriend them all! Or at least Hiroko. She might be clingy, but I always thought she was sweet. It... may also help that she gave me gifts too. :P

The only other character that I have much of anything to say about is Kenichi. Hitoshi and Michiru never made much of an impression on me, save that it annoyed me if they got into fights with my girl.

Guessing "Greet them charmingly" impresses Kenichi, "Try to be funny" impresses Hitoshi, and "Be silent" impresses Hiroko, since "Greet them energetically" impressed Michiru (who I like best based on the brief descriptions).

Romance the girl who always gets into fights. She'll make the perfect companion while Prism travels the universe, beating up aliens.

I cannot argue with this. In fact, I support it whole-heartedly! Can they be a CRIME-FIGHTING DUO?

Or a crime-causing duo. Whichever.

Romance Befriend Hiroko, because meganes never disappoint.

I've just seen the second OP (the one you get when the title screen is left on for a while) and screenshot'ed the people you can befriend. Spoilered because there are people we haven't met yet, and they show the kids as teenagers.

There are a total of 8 love interests for our little Prizzy-izzy, including two mystery characters(?)!
You guys thinking what I'm thinking?

Edit: Unless you were talking about PM3. Unfortunately, there aren't any translation projects for that one.

Well, since I have no idea what stats are relevant to Ryuunosuke and Kousei, I'll vote for either track or newspaper (track if we only get one vote). Eloquence sounds nice, but I like Michiru.

I haven't been having trouble separating the game text from your text, but the tiny Monobear avatar suggestion sounds great to me.

Also, I am a little worried that Japan is apparently okay with ten-year-old girls working as dumpster-pushers. There should really be some sort of law against that.
